Can't thank Fran and Jonathan and their amazing team, enough for their hospitality! We were a rowdy party of 20 meeting up for our Christmas family gathering and everyone was so welcoming. The food was excellent especially the steaks and the wonderful almond and plum pudding. The setting is delightful with stunning views in every direction. We'll definitely be returning.

Beautiful pub with warm cosy fires and delicious food, good selection of wines & beers and a landlord and landlady who really enjoy what they are doing. We stayed at the Red Pump Inn at short notice and were given a beautiful room, super comfortable bed and modern shower. Our room overlooked Pendle Hill. The Irish breakfast was so lovely!... More

We stayed at the Hotel for two nights and ate there three times, one lunch and two dinners! Let me start by saying the owner Jonathan very successfully secured a supply deal with 'The Ginger Pig' (who exclusively supply seven London butchers). The meat is of the highest quality and enhanced by the creativity and talents of their head chef.... More

First visit to The Red Pump and will not be our last. Large fresh flower arrangement greeting you as you walk through the door and rest of the pub and restaurant tastefully decorated. Warm welcome from staff and wide selection of dishes on the various menus and good choice of local beers. Nice place to catch up with friends and... More

The pub is open 12-2pm for lunch, it was easy to find and had loads of parking space. The decorations and presentation of the pub was lovely and homely. We got seated by a lovely open fire, which was very welcoming on such a rainy and windy day. We had duck and fish & chips, both were lovely, the portions... More

Stayed here for a 2 night half term break. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for them, from good local advice about where to visit, eat, etc They even loaned us a walking book for the day.

Wanted a nice birthday meal for our daughters birthday....saw the recent reviews for the red pump and decided to pay a visit...it was a horrid rainy windy November early evening and we arrived around 6pm, not many patrons in the pub...but we were immediately greeted and seated...our drinks order served almost immediately and the hostess arrived to take our food...
