Just sublime

We have been going here now for a few months. Both the Indian and the Thai menu are superb. Very friendly, fine food and not over priced.

this is an intriguing restaurant offering a thai and indian restaurant with separate menus in the same building and kitchen.we were presented with the thai menu(more thai chefs than indian?).food was pretty acceptable and front of house very friendly.i should probably return to try the indian dishes altho instinctively feel they will be less good than the thai!

Met some business colleagues after a meeting. The service was good with two choosing from the Indian menu with two choosing from the Thai menu. The choices from both menus was good and the food fully met our expectations in a good environment. The various rooms and table spacing enabled us to mix business with pleasure. A return visit will... More

I visited the Blue Orchid last night for dinner and was not disappointed! Everything was really tasty and authentic. The restaurant was really busy which shows how popular it is! I will be coming back very soon!

I eat here regularly and think the Indian menu excellent and the Thai one a close 2nd but beware that on some nights (often Tuesdays) the indian chef has off and you are left with the Thai menu. But for that I'd have given them 5 stars

Lovely food, friendly service. There was a large group in the night we were there, so allowance had to be made for some rather excitable squarking females, but overall a lovely evening.

Nearly all the bad reviews on this place are from 2013. The hosts are polite, attentive, professional and friendly. The food is beautiful, good value for money and is served quickly. I can thoroughly recommend Set Menu B!

As Thai restaurants go (in England), this is top-notch. Ambience is good, with Thai music, waitresses in traditional costume and authentic Thai food. On this occasion, our choices of fish cakes and chicken with cashew nuts (deliciously spicy) were both perfect - as good as we would expect in Bangkok. A bonus is that they have Singha beer, which complements... More

We were staying at the Best Western hotel situated right next door and decided to visit the Blue Orchid, perfect for a 10 second walk for amazing tasty food and drinks. Very reasonable for the quality of food and attentive staff! Would love to visit again. Seating available outside under canopies for the warm weather, looked great if there were... More

It's easy to forget to review a restaurant you visit frequently, but it was after eating my meal at the Blue Orchid last night that I felt I really ought to review them. Located in Aspley Guise, just off the square, it is set in a lovely village. There is an indoor and outdoor seating area - although it has... More
