What a let down ...... Well first and last visit to the new tesero. Soggy spring rolls, overcooked duck rolls, mixed curry with no curry (basically stir fried veg and meat) sweet and sour chicken with no sweet or sour (sauce for spring rolls had more taste) €27 down the pan .... even pebbles turned her nose up. Wish there... More

We have been eating at Tesoro Chinese Restaurant for years, mostly we have a take away. The food is consistently very good and tasty, the portions are generous and the staff are very friendly. If you are in the old town in PDC you should give it a try, it's better than all the new ones on the front and... More

We came here 3 times and it got better each time. Extremely polite staff, with impeccable manners, real, warm, wide smiles and a genuine welcome. We ate like kings and tried several items on the menu which were all really fantastic. One of the very best and safest bets in puerto del Carmen if you like Chinese good. Great value... More

Haven't been here for years went for a ,birthday parts it was so good. Cleanliness, staff service and the food was excellent. There are several new Chineese restaurants in Puerto Del Carmen, but no one can beat them for the quality and flavour of their food. Definitely recommend.

My wife and I visited tesoro de oro on a recommendation from a local woman she told us the food was fantastic so we went up the old town to check it out we found it very easy thank god. On arrival the place looked very nice inside the waitress was very unwelcoming and didn't speak 2 words to us.... More

Maybe we just had bad luck. The staff was not friendly and looked like they wanted to go home as soon as possible. We ordered spare ribs as a starter and they were deep fried...the portions were way too large. After not finishing our starters we got a sizzling beef plate, fried rice with prawns, peking duck with steamed white... More

Also iffy to eat at an ethnic restaurant outside of the country of origin but Chinese restaurants are usually fairly ok considering they are a long way from China. So we decided why not and stopped into Tesoro de Oro for an evening meal and were remarkably and very pleasantly surprised. it was without a doubt the best Chinese meal... More

We have visited Tesoro de Oro numerous times over the years. It always keeps the same standard of food and value. Friendly efficient staff. Will certainly keep returning.
