I would wholly recommend this family run restaurant, the food was 1st class, the cost was very reasonable and the friendliness of the team there made our evening so enjoyable. we will definitely recommend and return on a subsequent visit to the Island.

Went to La Canada as we had looked at Trip Advisor reviews. Not sure if they were having a bad night or it had just gone down hill since the last review. The restaurant had 2 other couples but felt as though it wasn't going to get any busier, the grill was lit but we didn't see anything cooked on... More

Anyone visiting Puerto Del Carmen I would highly recommend La Canada which is a first class restaurant, first class staff and first class decor. Please visit this restaurant as you will not get a better meal anywhere. We ate in La Ola which was first class too but a lot more pricey. The restaurant is located up a slight hill... More

We have looked at this restaurant on a few occasions, on our several visits to the island. This time we thought we would give it a go and was not dissappionted. Only dissappointment was we didn't go sooner, totally fab, waited on our meal but it was worth waiting for. It was a liitle more expensive but you only get... More

From the moment you enter this restaurant you recognise it is a cut above the surrounding places offering fried sandwiches and English breakfasts. Quite formal, but service amenable enough. Good quality, authentic Spanish cuisine, but also have a children's menu to cater for the fussy little ones. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for and this was... More

This is one of only 2 restaurants we felt warranted a second visit. There's a fair range on the menu, and although a little more expensive than other local restaurants, it's well worth a visit as the food - we tried steak and fish- was very tasty. Wine is too expensive there but beer is reasonable. The service is friendly... More

Excellant food. Went 3 nights in 1 week. Had filet Mignon, Beef Strogonoff, Pepper steak - all superb with lovely sauces. Flambé strawberries for sweet definately recommended. Only a little more expensive than the pub food you get on the strip.

Beautiful place, high standards, perfect cuisine. We ordered a couple of tapas and steaks recommended by our waiter: file steak and file mignon. Tapas were very good and nicely served, file steak was perfect, but mine file mignon was absolutely divine, probably the best I've ever eaten! Definitely recommend the restaurant!

Firs time we visited this restaurant on our holiday in March 2011 (two times) in September 2011 we did a weekend lanzarote, and La Canada was one of the most important reasons we came back to lanzarote. The food and the service are Excellent! Of course you pay more than 99% of the other restaurants on Lanzarote, but here you... More

Had a lovely meal. Food was a little pricey but very nice... U get what u pay for. But when the bill came it was over 80 euros... Waiter quickly went through items but still didn't add up...? We paid but left feeling like we'd been done. Drinks we didn't have. Bread rolls which weren't ordered but placed on our... More
