Good food but quiet

Friendly service, good choice on menu, but very quiet as we were the only people in the resturant, which could be because it's early season and a mid- week visit. Steak were perfectly cooked as were the pork chops. Good experience.

I visited Asadero de Macher in January 2015.On entering the restaurant on a popular Friday night we immediately knew something was amiss. The restaurant was completely empty and extremely cold.A waitress appeared from a back room, she had no English but we eventually managed to explain that it was cold and eventually she brought a heater and plugged it in beside us.We... To our great disappointment, this restaurant has changed hands, and although the menu is exactly the same and the food up to the same standard, we had problems with very little english being spoken, even over simple requests, and therefore misunderstandings occurring. We could not fault the food, but the atmosphere created by the previous owners was missing. We hope... More

Just returned from Lanzarote and 2 visits to the Asadero de Macher. Large traditional restaurant. If you haven't got a car then get a taxi - it is well worth a visit if want to get out of the town. Traditional cuisine, been visiting many years and not been disappointed yet! Lovely views from the restaurant as it sits high... More

We go every time we visit Lanzarote. The fillet steak and the lamb chops are tremendous. Ask the waitress for her recommendation of what's good on that day. It is great value for money. It may not look much from the road but it is definitely worth a visit.

Having used this restaurant many times before we were not disappointed on this return visit. Good selection @ a reasonable cost. Lamb chops are to be recommended

This restaurant was suggested by one of the locals working in the Japanese restaurant in Puerto Calero. I went there for the meat and I must say it is one of the best restaurant for that, along with another one I visited in Brasil and another in Italy. The meat is roasted over the embers thus giving a special and... More
