Lovely setting, good food!

This restaurant is right on the harbour at Puerto Calero, not sure why it is under Tias but! Great marina view, lovely steaks, good fish and kind staff. We had two of our nicest meals here, not because one aspect of our visit was outstanding but because it was an overall great experience. We'd... read more

Been here many times on our holiday and always found the food, ambience, service and value for money to be excellent. Had the menu of the day mostly and it is fabulous. Bread roll whilst you are waiting, three wonderful starters that we shared amongst us and then a wonderful main. No room for dessert but your drink is included... More

Avoid. Utterly awful. We had Tapas, it was an insult to this wonderful concept. Chick Peas were inedible and contained ghastly pieces of meat. Fish croquet were mush, garlic bread soggy. Stuffed peppers were filled with unidentifiable gunk. We left without eating more than half our food. The bread rolls were ok and so was the OJ. The 4 star... More

Decided to try this restaurant out after a good walk from Puerto Del Carmen to Puerto calero Marina where El tomate is located, it has lovely views of the marina, i went for the 3 courses + Drink for 10 Euros from the day menu as it looked excellent value. I had the Fish croquettes, battered lanzarote fish slices and... More

Nice location on the marina, the food was ok at a good price but there are better places close by. The service was slow although it wasn't full. My friends marinara sauce looked like it had come from a can and was incredibly heavy.. On the up the beer was presented in chilled glasses and was great.

We came here before the submarine safari for lunch and it was great! Reasonable prices for big portions, high standards of food and service. Very attentive and helpful waiters! Would definitely recommend it!

We have visited this restaurant many times in the past and have always been satisfied with the service and quality of the food therefor during this visit to Puerto del Carmen we met some Scottish friends and we decided to take them there for a treat because the setting is beautiful. The 3 course "menu del dia" looked like a... More

Been here several times now as we visit Lanzarote 3 or 4 times a year. The Menu del Dia at 10euros is fantastic value, well cooked and served with a smile from experienced waiting staff. Particularly worth a mention is the canarian soup, grilled fish and the ' house flan' a type of creme caramel. The setting is superb, elevated... More

Lovely setting just on the marina front of puerto calero. They advertised a 3 course meal for 10€. The children tried that and my husband and I chose from the menu. The children chose lentil soup and chicken nuggets to start, followed by fish and chips and a minute steak plus deserts. The portion sizes were incredible especially for a... More
