Visited Twice... Would We Go A Third Time ??

Perhaps... Both our visits were OK, it's a middle of the scale type eatery. The location is lovely, right by the marina and we found the service to be friendly and efficient. It wasn't too busy when we visited (once for lunch, once for dinner) and there are a number of other establishments to... read more

Not a fan of eating in Puerto Calero, mainly because its highly priced for the quality of food... Having walked from Puerto del Carmen and in need of refreshment we checked out the menus and trip advisor reviews and plumped for this, as it seemed the best option for the time of day. Nice view, nice atmosphere, pleasant service but... More

We visited Puerto Calero for dinner and decided on El Tomate based on their menu. We maybe should have reconsidered when we were the only people in the whole restaurant but gave them the benefit of the doubt. We ordered some garlic bread with cheese and when it came out it was a toasted bread roll with a slice of... More

We all had fish and all dishes were overcooked and luke warm. The ambiance is not good and the waiters unhelpful and surly. This is a Canarian restaurant and the fact that they do not know how to cook fish says it all. Did not enjoy at all, a complete waste of money.

Good value for families. Satisfying, relax, nice location on the marina. A casual place with local standards.

We shared a fabulous afternoon here with friends. Right by the national, it's a superb place to while away time people watching and enjoying gorgeous food - the ice cream sweets were to die for. Just relax and enjoy!

Our party of seven all chose different dishes and the unanimous decision was, give the restaurant a miss, there's plenty more in the marina to choose from at a marginally higher price. I opted for fish stew in Canary sauce and was served fish stew in a sickly oily tomato sauce.

we went two times to this restaurant. Prices are very correct and both tapas and paella are good! If you want to try Paella, you have to reserve one day before but it is really worth it. we took it for 4 persons and it was delicious!

Great place to eat, right on the harbour in Puerto Calero. They do an excellent set menu for lunch and it is well worth the €10. The staff are friendly and helpful and, although the set menu has only a few dishes, there is choice and they are all good quality. This is the second time I have eaten there... More
