Best spot in town... An oasis!!

Eat here regularly when on business in the area. Refined choices, tasty, good, fast service and very reasonable prices in a quaint setting right on Main Street... And absolutely killer coffee!! Love it...

We stopped here for lunch recently. The food was o.k. (We had lunch but the breakfast menu looked more interesting) and the service pleasant and efficient. When we paid, however, we found that the American dollar is taken at par and they don't take credit cards. The waitress kindly knocked off the price of the soup, but lunch still cost... More

Very nice quaint little cafe on main street with good lunch menu of panini's and salads. They roast their own coffee but unfortunately we didn't get a chance to try any this trip.

This small restaurant is a treasure! Always pleasantly greeted, excellent service. The food was more than impressive nearly all made from scratch by the family. We had a breakfast poutine, which was incredibly original and delicious, and waffles with berries. The plates come with a lot of fruit and potatoes. Highly recommend stopping here!

Great Little Cafe situated in a quaint village in the eastern townships. Talked with the owners and they explained that nearly EVERYTHING is home made (bread, dressings, sauce, marinades, jams, etc). We had a western omlette which was amazing (must try) as well as a french toast sandwich. Every plate comes with freshly cut fruit (watermelon, cantaloup, kiwi, berries, orange,... More

3 PM lunch stop and as we run a cafe we like to stop at them . Espresso was fab but so was the ( squash ) soup and chicken Caesar and smoked salmon salad and eclairs. A quiet town that we happened through ... Thanks to the tourism guide for the "Eastern Townships" for classifying it as a "Cafe... More

During a recent motorcycle trip from Michigan to Quebec, we lost our way and found ourselves in Bedford, Quebec just in time for lunch. The Café Rouge was fabulous. It's a welcoming café with incredible food. Service was first rate and very friendly. I had a wonderful sandwich called "The Orchid". Gourmet and first rate all the way. Wish I... More

I recently traveled to Quebec form Vermont, and met someone for lunch at the Cafe Rouge. I arrived early, and the server graciously switched from French to English when she realized I was struggling! My lunch companion arrived and we both ordered the breakfast burrito - beautifully prepared and presented! We sat and talked for some time in this lovely... More

This place is VERY good. The food was excellent, beautifully presented and the guy who owns it served us and is extremely happy and friendly. The place is very clean, nicely decorated and good tableware. For those of you who have visited the UK it is along the lines of the Cafe Rouge chain there. It's DEFINITELY worth a visit and... More
