Perfect.

The cooking at Hof van Cleve is simply amazing. It is very complex as far as technique and finesse goes. Every dish offers a number of pleasant flavors and combinations. Each serving is unique and offers a new range of flavors. Wine pairings are perfect. A dinner at Hof van Cleve is with every... read more

By far the best *** restaurant I have ever been to (about 10 times!). Atmosphere, staff, every single item, dish, ingredient are out of this world. Every plate is a work of art, every bite a trip to Nirvana.

We missed our initial lunch booking due to delays with the Eurotunnel however Mrs Goossens was very understanding when we called, and kindly agreed to change our booking to dinner instead for that evening. We received a very warm welcome and were immediately seated and received efficient and friendly service from an experienced and professional team. Every course was outstanding... More

I treated my Husband to a meal at Hof Van Cleve for our wedding anniversary present. We both love our food (and wine!) and have been fortunate to eat at 6 three star michelin restaurants in the last 2-3 months! And several 1 and 2 star restaurants over this short timeframe. We had the full 7 course tasting menu with... More

3 Michelin stars in the middle of nowhere which makes it somewhat easier than norm to get a reservation and there's the rub. It has relaxed the normal 3 star establishment rules with dress code and quote relaxed fashion well that means jeans. I don't have a problem with this as fine dining should be available to all but found... More

After a just in time arrival (expect a lot of traffic in Antwerpen, when arriving from the North) for lunch arround 1:30 p.m. it took us just a few minutes to be immersed in this culinary wonderland. We had the lunch version of the "Freshness of Nature" menue, which came to filling number of 5 appetizers, 3 mains, 6 cheeses,... More

We were looking forward to this ever since we made the reservation and we've not been disappointed in the slightest. The reception was extremely courteous and from the moment we had stated our names, we were given the feeling they had all been waiting for us to arrive. We were shown our table and from then on there seemed to... More

I don't see much way for a tourist to get to this place other than by renting a car (which means someone's not doing the wine pairing :) ). We stayed in Brussels, rented a car, and drove out to Kruishoutem for lunch, before visiting WWI sites in Ypres in the afternoon and returned to Brussels. You cannot access the... More

We went there on a beautiful and sunny day for lunch. Gin and tonic on the terrace, overlooking the environment from the hilltop at the backside of the restaurant. Calm and joy. Lots of amazing little appetizers, all 'Wow'! Follow the proposed menu, it is well thought off, and in perfect harmony with the wines. If you don't drink alcohol,... More
