Great diversity of meals and friendly staff

We really enjoyed the diversity of the menu on our recent night out with family. We shared the Japanese crumbed tiger prawns as our starter, which was a great beginning to our meals. As our mains we had a selection of Pappardelle pasta with slow cooked lamb, Roast 1/2 duck with marinated shaved... read more

The restaurant was busy so booking is advisable. A good lunch menu with a great variety of drinks available whether inside or in the Al fresco area. It can be a bit noisy with client conversations but that just increases the great atmosphere of the Subi! Service was a bit slow (agree they were extremely busy) but my porterhouse steak... More

It's been years since I've visited the Subi, but last Friday night drinks was a disappointment. The cocktail was expensive - $10 for the lounge upstairs but $18 for the bar downstairs. Did not realise until later in the night but was too late! They had a girl swim dancing (not sure what's it's call) In a martini cup. It... More

Service is good, food is usually good but the portions of the epic pappardelle are getting smaller. Entres and Mains are great but the desert menu is not really exciting. It is disappointing this restaurant used to be excellent value for money.

The atmosphere is excellent, shame the service and food was not equal. We had a booking for 3 people for dinner on a wednesday night, we were jammed into the corner of a busy restaurant on a table that was too small for 3. The food was average at best as was the service, with long waits for drinks and... More

The Subi hotel , as we locals call this wonderful Iconic Place. Not only a terrific place to meet up with Buddys for a Drink, also a superb Eatery. The food is always consistently great with simple, fresh local produce, very 'foodie' indeed. The menu covers all grounds for even the most fussy of eaters, and yummy and innovative vegetarian... We went for lunch on a Wednesday 5 girls for a birthday. We ordered starters and shared everything. It was all really well presented and plenty of food to share. We tried the pate, Panko crumbed prawns, calamari, risotto and a couple of others. It was all really good. The service is good without being in your face so all... More

Freindly service without being over bearing. Food was beautifully presented and just the rift amount. My partner had the steak and said it was perfectly cooked. I had the duck. It was fantastic. Desert was just enough and not too rich. Highly recommended. Defiantly go again.

Right in the middle of Subiaco, very popular and trendy. Place is well set up and has a good atmosphere. Staff were very efficient and friendly. Was expecting the place to be packed after the footy, but was actually quite easy to get a table and have a few drinks. (Probably a bit quieter as it was easter).

Four of us went for a long lunch this week and were well looked after. When the girls finally looked at the menu we all ordered lots of starters to share between us. The food was fresh, the Caesar salad was crisp with lovely candied bacon and the crispy squid was delicious. Our server was very good, looking after us... More
