Great Spot for Breakfast Meeting!

Had a 7.30 a.m., breakfast meeting here, and have to say The Subi is an ideal venue! Quite a few tables were occupied with similar minded people, yet we were all far away from each other which ensured privacy. Service was prompt, polite and friendly. Dined here midweek and the place was full. Thankfully we had a table outside as the level of noisy diners resonating off the stone floors inside was deafening as each table appeared to be trying to be heard above the rising noise. The main course was OK but there's not too much you can do to ruin pork belly or... More

I was visiting Perth and was taken here for dinner by a friend. Love the deco, great relaxing atmosphere and very professional staff. The food was great - the salt & pepper calamari was delicious and the duck mouth watering. We were there on a Monday night, so quite quiet but I can imagine it would be packed at the... More

I came here for a work dinner and was blown away. The food was delicious. The half duck was really tasty and the pear tart starter divine. The bar had a roaring fire and a great wine list. Decent champagne by the glass gets top marks from me.

The restaurant was busy so booking is advisable. A good lunch menu with a great variety of drinks available whether inside or in the Al fresco area. It can be a bit noisy with client conversations but that just increases the great atmosphere of the Subi! Service was a bit slow (agree they were extremely busy) but my porterhouse steak... More

We really enjoyed the diversity of the menu on our recent night out with family. We shared the Japanese crumbed tiger prawns as our starter, which was a great beginning to our meals. As our mains we had a selection of Pappardelle pasta with slow cooked lamb, Roast 1/2 duck with marinated shaved peach & fennel salad and Rabbit lasagne.... More

It's been years since I've visited the Subi, but last Friday night drinks was a disappointment. The cocktail was expensive - $10 for the lounge upstairs but $18 for the bar downstairs. Did not realise until later in the night but was too late! They had a girl swim dancing (not sure what's it's call) In a martini cup. It... More

Service is good, food is usually good but the portions of the epic pappardelle are getting smaller. Entres and Mains are great but the desert menu is not really exciting. It is disappointing this restaurant used to be excellent value for money.

The atmosphere is excellent, shame the service and food was not equal. We had a booking for 3 people for dinner on a wednesday night, we were jammed into the corner of a busy restaurant on a table that was too small for 3. The food was average at best as was the service, with long waits for drinks and... More

The Subi hotel , as we locals call this wonderful Iconic Place. Not only a terrific place to meet up with Buddys for a Drink, also a superb Eatery. The food is always consistently great with simple, fresh local produce, very 'foodie' indeed. The menu covers all grounds for even the most fussy of eaters, and yummy and innovative vegetarian...
