My wife and I hosted two friends for breakfast. It had been a long time since we dined here and had fond memories of our previoius experience; unfortunately this was not duplicated. We all had variations of standard breakfast. I had the large breakfast (eggs, bacon, potato, toast etc) The breakfasts came in two separate deliveries separated by approx 10... More

Visited Witches for anniversary dinner. Service was great, staff friendly. Had the famous garlic prawns with steamed rice which was delicious. Lamb fillets marinated in garlic & rosemary was well presented and very tasty. The desserts were to die for Trio of Chocolate with very rich delicious mud cake, mousse & truffle and the Icky Sticky Pudding, all very nice.... More

We were told this was a great place to eat well it is not in my opinion. The service was not the best... food did not come together, drinks were not offered before asking if we wanted to order food and then the drinks also did not come together. The garlic prawn dish that we were told was a must... More

A much anticipated family visit, memories to rekindle as the older members have visited many times over 30 years span. The garlic prawns did not disappoint and were heartily enjoyed. The dhufish meuniere however was very lacking in the very sauce it's famous for. This was rectified by asking for more sauce by the jug. Should not have needed to.... More

We came to the Cauldron after the footy and had a fairly run of the mill experience. I felt like I had stepped back in time! Not much has changed in the past 20 years (or even 40 years as my mum said!) The garlic prawns were good but not as good as I remember. The presentation was fairly average... More

Returning to Perth since retiring 3 years ago, our return to Witches Cauldron was as enjoyable as the first many years ago.... A former favourite as a client hospitality venue... Some tables are not ideal, but the food and service makes up .... Classical dishes with fine selection of wines. Typical Perth prices having been interstate for last few years,... More

I have experienced the dining delights of The Witch's Cauldron on several occasions over many years. The food is wholesome and plentiful. Succulent steaks, fresh seafood and the BEST garlic prawns in the country! The wine list is varied and always updated. Some outstanding labels make the cellar amongst the best. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Completely recommended... More

I had seen the adds and wanted to see if was everything they said. Unfortunately it was dissappointing. The portions were very small and the plates way over priced. The decor was less disreable, didn't even resemble a witches nair. It was jsut and old house. I can say my husband and i won't go there again!

If you are careful with your ordering you will come away very satisfied. The portions are large. Wonderful wine list and attentive staff.
