Lunched at Witches Cauldron today intending to feast on the signature Garlic Prawns. As in the 1970's we were not disappointed. Nice wine list and friendly service too.

In the heart of vibrant Subiaco, this restaurant has stood the test of time. Offering consistently great food and service, it's not cheap but the speciality garlic prawns are legendary and well worth a visit for a special occasion. Worth booking in advance as can be very busy. I am still not sure of the full sized witch hanging from... More

I have experienced Witches Cauldron for breakfast, lunch and dinner and it has never disappointed. Is a bit expensive, but as each meal has always been delivered in taste and presentation, it is worth that little bit of extra cost to enjoy just being there. Ambience is nice as well.

I am a big fan of going out for breakfast so The Witches Cauldron was one place I hadn't gone too. It was amazing! The fresh juice (complimentary) was really sensational and a nice welcome. The service is always top notch here and the food equally as nice. My girlfriends and I thoroughly enjoyed out breakfast and the nice cosy... More

My wife, daughter and I went for lunch. Fish and Chips was delicious. I shared the sticky date pudding which was yummy.

Had the two course set lunch, salt and pepper squid good, gnocchi dish with slow cooked beef fine. Service very average , sorry for inconveniencing the waiters at lunch time for say a drink or the bill , very average unfriendly service.

While there is nothing too wrong with Witches cauldron it is not really exciting either and it does seem somewhat over-priced for what is basically standard restaurant food. My beef salad was perfectly adequate but certainly not memorable. This is the sort of restaurant one might visit as a regular work-horse, a convenient place on the way home, perhaps, but... More

Visiting Perth for work I was told about this place from a taxi driver, so glad he did mention it. The best Garlic Prawns you will ever eat, this place has great service, nice setting & delicious food. What more could you ask for?

We once lived in Subiaco and then visited this restaurant often. We visted again today for my wife's birthday. We picked a grest bottle of wine and ordered from the daily menu. The prawns were good. The steak was pedestrian. The icky sticky pudding dessert was great. There are many better restaurants and it may be another 20 years before... More
