Love this place for Saturday morning coffee and... Have tried a different cake each week, will do so until I get through all of them -- usually around 5 different types are available. All have been excellent, but the cakes containing fruits are the best. Then I will begin on their terrific looking food. Fresh, wholesome. The restaurant has a certain... More

I am a regular at Boucla with my morning coffee every morning. Every now and then I have the breakfast and the cakes. Everything is top quality, worth every cent and every calorie. To die for. Try the scrambled eggs and feta, baked beans on toast and caprese cheese with tomato. For something sweet, the white chocolate cake with berries,... More

We recently visited Perth after being away for 5 years and met friends at Boucla for lunch. How fabulous to visit an old favourite and find it still excellent. The food is tasty, interesting and the cakes are THE best ever. We shared meals - stuffed eggplant, salads, spinach pie and then slices of Sicilian apple cake. This is a... More

Great coffee, tasty food and a relaxed vibe. This cafe is based in trendy Subiaco, and is one of the few cafes that is worth queuing for. Staff are both super friendly and efficient.

I work in Subiaco and my day really does not get started until I have my Boucla Coffee. The cakes at Boucla are delicious and varied- in all the years I have been frequenting this Café I am amazed at the quality, nothing beats home cooking. Their main meals are also recommended. If in Subiaco you must visit, can be... More

I went to boucla for lunch on a saturday, slightly less busy than the weekday visitors. I shared a mixed salad plate and a chicken pie with my other guest and I highly recommend the chicken pie and the israeli cous cous salad! The rose flavoured tea was also delicious and I had it with a glass of ice to... More

If you've been craving a good coffee this is definitely the cafe to go to. Turkish/Greek style cafe with contemporary Australian nuances, small, cosy and with heaps of character. Years ago when it was hard to find a really good coffee Boucla was a mainstay. It still is. Baristas stay for a long time but do eventually go their own... More

Boucla is one of those neighbourhood cafe places that makes you feel privileged to live nearby. After going there for years the coffee is still good, good always amazing, varied and new/different takes on our favourites mean it's never repetitive to go back week after week. If you're lucky enough to get there on a Thursday night you're in for... More

When I discovered this cafe, thanks to my good pal V, during my early days in Perth, I was delighted by its bohemian style, fabulous cakes and excellent coffee. I am still delighted 10 years later - I love it. Its tiny but always good.
