My new favourite restaurant, and especially being a Japanese one. Great place, great staff. Food is too die for. FULL STOP. I try to go for some different things on the menu, but I cant help myself and keep going back for the Chicken Teriyaki lunch set from the lunch menu.

best japanese food outside japan! this quaint little place is amazing….i haven't been here for a year, but used to be a regular. my favourite little dish has always been the aubergine dengaku, so i ordered it, but it was a very pleasant shock last night to find that in the year i have been away, this dish has tripled... The bento box presented for lunch is definitely a step above your usual Japanese fare. Each dish in my bento was done to perfection with crispy chicken karaage, super moist on the inside. Value was great as well for the Subiaco area.

My Dad and I went to Satsuki for for lunch on my 18th birthday as I work on Rockeby Road. It was pretty empty & service was quite attentive. The atmosphere was pretty casual as it's right on a busy side walk outside the train station. We both ordered the salmon, which was lovely. It was also only about $13... More

Wonderful Japanese food, local restaurant that we visit regularly for dinner and lunch. Different from usual Japanese restaurants with a larger variety of choice from cold, fried, baked, braised. Dinner dishes are small but made for sharing. Sashimi is fresh. Desserts not as good as savory dishes. Lunches are set meala with some a la carte. Range of different sake.... More

If you have tried to get into Halu with no luck look no further then Satsuki. Authentic staff and great selection of traditional food make this a great night. Big selection of tapas style food. Sushi and hot dishes are all good. Soft shell crab is a standout. Give this place a go you wont be disappointed.

This restaurant was a surprise - situated near Subiaco train station in Subiaco Square - the food was fresh, authentic and totally delicious. The service was attentive without being overly so, and the staff very polite but with a nice sense of humour - the wine list very good - and the price was reasonable. It's not a very big... More

Food was nice although very small dishes, so you need to spend abit to get your fill, service was average with some dishes taking a fare while to come out. As a local in Subi I would not rush back.

We went for lunch on a Saturday around 1 PM. The place was empty and we were given the choice to choose either inside or outside seating. We seat outside and we order the food straight away. The drinks came very fast but the food took between 30 to 45 minutes (I don't remember what we have ordered but nothing... More
