Was out for a walk on a foggy morning and stopped in for a coffee. Lovely and warm inside, piping hot coffee and goodies in the food cabinet. Friendly staff.

New winter menu limited - perhaps if a couple of dishes from the morning menu added would give you more choice Staff good - however a more professional dress code would be an improvement If the kitchen staff are having a disagreement please do it so your customers are not aware!!

Thank you for taking the time to review your visit to our cafe. We regret that the volume of the 'disagreement' carried in to the dining area. We sometimes forget that the inviting, open plan seating nature of the cafe allows our voices to carry a bit too well! Your comments are a very appreciated reminder of that. We look... More

We stopped here with family at Easter for afternoon tea. The coffee was good and served promptly. The party ordered separately and they did lose any part of our order. Space to relax outside as well.

A neat little café right by the end of Shaky Bridge, and in the vineyard of the same name. If available sample the Shaky Bridge Pinot Noir Rose!

The setting was beautiful and the staff friendly, however meal was very average and not good value for the money.

Thank you to the new management for enticing us back - we visited again in January 2014 and were delighted with service, ambience and food, wine and coffee. It was all perfect. I loved the pea and zucchini fritters with smoked salmon and haloumi cheese - so light and fluffy in the middle and crispy on the edges. Great coffee... More

Our burger option and fritter dish have quickly become highlights on our menu and we greatly appreciate your very kind words about the quality and tastiness of the food we are presenting. We decided... More

Dull food, slow service, and prices did not reflect what we got for food. The lamb kebabs tasted nice but were served on a bed of dry couscous which was hard to swallow. The decor was nice, but the staff seemed a bit absent minded and not really interested in customers. There are a lot of other places which have... More

Getting there is half the fun - crossing that shaky bridge! The cafe is typical New Zealand: good food and attentive service in a genial atmosphere.
