Unassuming little cafe lovely location

A small menu offering excellent home cooked food, friendly staff and interesting location on the edge of the vineyard and close to the famous bridge. I popped into Shaky Bridge for Saturday morning coffee with friends. The setting is fantastic nestled under the big clock on the hill overlooking the river. The service was surly but efficient and the coffee good. However the food we ordered with the coffee was ordinary. The large portion sizes didn't make up for the rather bland flavours and my... Nice little cafe to while away an hour having a coffee and a chat in the sun. Food looked nice in the cabinet and obviously a popular place for locals, cyclists and families.

My partner and I visited the Shaky Bridge Vineyard Cafe around New Year on a very hot summer's day. The cafe had lots of customers but service was pretty smooth and we didn't have to wait a long time for our food. We found a nice table on the verandah outside the cafe so we could enjoy the view and... More

We just had the worst dining experience ever!! As locals we often go to the Shakey Bridge but today it was a totally different experience. The wait staff had NO IDEA what they were doing. It was a bit busy but not what I would call frantic, I've seen it worse there. We were not given a number and watched... More
