Also one of our favorites restaurants in the area. You must stop for a treat! They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the best hot chocolate! Also you can get lucky watching lots of birds in a Guarumo tree right in front of the terrace. We were lucky to watch a beautiful sunset with clear skies and got to see... More

Excellent food and super nice owners...Suzanne and Bob are one of the nicest people you'll meet in Monteverde, Costa Rica. Interest in cooking and baking with world travel is what got Suzanne started at this restaurant that they build on their own. Great food selection and spiced up the way we like it. Argentinian/International fusion food it was. So good... More

Fabulous food here! From the chicken mole to the burgers to shrimp dish, we had delicious meals here. The staff was attentive and our food was served quickly. This was one of our best meals in Costa Rica. The chocolates that we took home with us were very tasty as well!

We initially went to Cafe Cabure for the chocolate tour, which we highly recommend. Bob provided an informative explanation of the process of chocolate making starting right with selecting the cocoa beans. And we had delicious samples at every stage of the process. After the tour, we got caught up in enjoying the birds in the trees on the property,... More

We ate at the cafe before the chocolate tour. The food was great and the serving size was good for the price! I also had a mocha, and they used chocolate from the chocolate processor there which was great! They had a good mix of local food and food that I was used to from America. I would definitely recommend... More

We only had lunch here but heard rave reviews for other travellers who so had dinner. My husband had a chicken dish that came with a fried egg on top. .forget the name, but remember to fresh, great taste. I had a fish dish which was terrific. We were with another couple and all the dishes were hits! Service was... More

You MUST go to Café Cabure when in the Monteverde area. Their food was the best that I've had in Monteverde, unquestionably! We ordered the roasted vegetable wrap and requested that chicken be added... it was delicious!!! Plus, we had their special of the day which was a mango chicken salad... while we weren't expecting it to be a curry... More

We ate here several times and returned for dinner on our last night after having a great lunch. Eclectic menu. Everything our group ordered was good...chipotle wraps, curry chicken salad, beef filet. Chocolate truffles were also good, and very reasonably priced.
