You MUST go to Café Cabure when in the Monteverde area. Their food was the best that I've had in Monteverde, unquestionably! We ordered the roasted vegetable wrap and requested that chicken be added... it was delicious!!! Plus, we had their special of the day which was a mango chicken salad... while we weren't expecting it to be a curry... More

We ate here several times and returned for dinner on our last night after having a great lunch. Eclectic menu. Everything our group ordered was good...chipotle wraps, curry chicken salad, beef filet. Chocolate truffles were also good, and very reasonably priced.

Spent a couple of hours here waiting my turn for a massage across the road at Revive. Had coffee and the "death by chocolate" dessert. Both were terrific. Service was very good. Atmosphere wonderful. And the massage was worth the wait as well.

This was one of our favorite places to eat in Monteverde. We ordered the chicken mole (wonderful and huge portion) that came with a delicious creamed corn. Additionally my husband and I split the beef (a little tough but still good) and we started with empanadas (I highly recommend these!) We finished with a few truffles (get the passion fruit-... We have eaten here several times now. We were in the area 3 years ago and again this April. They have been consistent! Every time has been a pleasant experience. Great food and a friendly staff. The owners are wonderful! The chocolate tour was amazing, I highly recommend it!

The hours we spent at Cafe Cabure were some of the best of our 8-day adventure in Costa Rica. First, the setting is wonderful - sitting on the deck at sunset was beautiful. Second, our dinners were very fresh and unique - delicious! Third, the chocolate tour was very interesting and worth every penny. The best parts, though, were the... More

This restaurant is in a beautiful building at the entrance to the bosque eterno de niños. It has a terrace with sunset view. We went for dinner, the food was outstanding and the wine delicious (I think we had a Malbec). It has a varied menu that includes curries. The owner explained that as a former marine biologist, she has... More

We stopped in here for "brunch" - planning to grab a coffee and taste the chocolate. Our server told us the empanadas were "rico," so we had one of each. They probably were the most best meal we had in all of Costa Rica! They were incredible!

This is such good place to eat! We tried the sweet and sour chicken wrap, tomato soup, and a ginger and mint lemonade. It was all to die for! The owner is such a kind person! If only we had more time to eat there again! We asked how we could make the ginger-lemon-mint lemonade at home. The owner explained... More
