Great Place for Lunch

This was the best meal we had during a week long trip to Costa Rica, most of it spent in Monteverde. The food was delicious and just right for a lovely lunch. The and chocolates were the perfect ending.

My wife liked this place a lot more than I did, so averaging out the reviews. The setting and service were great, but my food was only slightly above average.

The owners are from opposite sides of the American Continent, Argentina and the US. The options are Argentine Cuisine, Costa Rican dishes and supreme desserts. It doesn't matter what you eat at Cabure or how much you pay, you will never forget such wonderful taste. Everything, from a "simple" drink to a large meal, it will a memorable experience and... We went here for dinner based on recommendation of our guide book. We were not disappointed. Food with Argentinean flare was delicately prepared. Service was on par, especially with owner lady Suzanne providing a personal touch. It is located in the same complex at the Bat Jungle, so a bit of distance from the main town of Santa Elena. We... Also one of our favorites restaurants in the area. You must stop for a treat! They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the best hot chocolate! Also you can get lucky watching lots of birds in a Guarumo tree right in front of the terrace. We were lucky to watch a beautiful sunset with clear skies and got to see... More

Excellent food and super nice owners...Suzanne and Bob are one of the nicest people you'll meet in Monteverde, Costa Rica. Interest in cooking and baking with world travel is what got Suzanne started at this restaurant that they build on their own. Great food selection and spiced up the way we like it. Argentinian/International fusion food it was. So good... More

Fabulous food here! From the chicken mole to the burgers to shrimp dish, we had delicious meals here. The staff was attentive and our food was served quickly. This was one of our best meals in Costa Rica. The chocolates that we took home with us were very tasty as well!
