Great food can't choose wrong everything is delicious. Don't miss that amazing ampenadas. Home made lasagna and breaded stake are highly recommended! Don't forget to leave room for the deserts :)

We got together for sunset drinks at Cafe Cabure and had a blast! Stunning view from the porch of the sunset over the Nicoya Peninsula.

My boyfriend and I ate here for a snack. The truffles were great, hot chocolate was excellent and the cookies were good. We are going back tomorrow for more chocolate and plan to buy some truffles for gifts.

We had a couple appetizers (cheesy stuff that was very good), a salad (which was nice) and... while we did not try they seemed to have nice drinks. They sell artisan chocolates and cookies. Nice views of the forest. Stop by the bat exhibit before or after!

This small restaurant, located over a bat preserve, is charming and serves delicious food. Their thin homemade corn tortilla wraps were wonderful. I didn't have their curry wrap but it looked and smelled delicious and the people who did loved it. I had their Death by Chocolate dessert which was very good but I think their flan is even better.... More

Susana Salas' creations were delectable. The chocolate here is to die for! Chocolate pastries, candy, hot chocolate all so yummy. She also has Argentina wine, which was the best wine we had in Costa Rica and rivaled the best we had in Argentina.

It's a morning chocolateria with hot cocoa and cappuccino, fresh chewy cookies and chocolate candies with startling taste treats hidden inside (blood orange, anyone?!) It's a lunch or dinner restaurant with a creative menu of local and Argentinian dishes & ingredients. We enjoyed the food immensely and the service was friendly. We sat on the terrace for the expansive morning... More

This is an Argentinian cafe but they have international cuisine and the food is really flavorful. Great sunset views from the tables on the balcony. I bought some chocolate truffles while I was there (many flavors - 600 colones a piece). They do apply a fixed currency conversion rate (500 colones = 1 USD), even when paying by credit card,... We had lunch here and did not think it deserved as high a review as it has. The meal was okay, but nothing special. Maybe dinner is better.
