Great place! The restaurant is Argentinian in theme and delicious! Bob was a great host for the chocolate tour. I have a new found respect for cholate makers and cholatiers! They two are not one in the same. The food was the best that we had eaten in our four days in Costa Rica. Jenny, our waitress was informative and... More

We went here for lunch. It was quite cold in the open-air restaurant, but maybe we just didn't dress right for Monteverde. Food was above fine, but not great. Prices are a bit high. The homemade chocolates are fine, but too expensive. The hot chocolate was amazing though! One of the best I've ever had, and I've had a lot!... More

My wife and I stopped here for lunch after our trip to the Cloud Forest. What a find! My wife had the chicken wrap, and I had the chipotle wrap and they were wonderful! We also had flan for dessert and it was fantastic! Susana, the owner, came out to check on us and ask if the meal was satisfactory.... More

This was recommended by my hotel for a leisurely lunch and it was perfect for that. The food and atmosphere where good. I wouldn't say it was a highlight of the trip, but if you want something different and a little out of the town, this is a nice little oasis, with good food. There was a nice selection of... More

On the main road to Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve, big sweep veranda to sit out on and eat, great breezes. The food here is the main attraction- fresh, international fare- we ate here twice, because it was that GOOD! They also make homemade organic chocolate creations, these too were delicious- we even bought some to go. Again, this is... More

We had lunch at Cafe Cabure on the recommendation of our hotel owner. It is a charming restaurant with outdoor balcony seating. My wife and I had wraps that were very tasty and reasonably priced. We later toured the small chocolate making area in the back and greatly enjoyed the informative lecture on chocolate, Costa Rica, and even some politics.... More

I currently live in Monteverde and got married here last week. Twenty-three of our family and friends flew in for our wedding and Susana helped plan a beautiful and delicious meal for all of us on the night of the rehearsal. We were able to choose the menu options ahead of time and when arrived for the dinner, everything was... More

We decided to go here for a little treat after the bat jungle. The manager was very nice and came to sit with us. Three hours later went on his tour were he showed us how he makes the chocolate. Then we got to eat a marshmallow dipped in chocolate. We were also the only people there. In all you... More

We had the best dinner of our trip to Costa Rica here. The chicken mole was spicy enough to make it delicious! The brownie dessert was incredible but what else would you expect from a place that also makes chocolate!
