Lunch was really good here. We even got dessert! We sat outside which had a nice view as well. They also had some chocolate treats that looked delicious as well.

Four of us had a very hearty dinner tonight for just over $100 U.S. Service was great, their truffles and chocolate treats were also very good--go for the passionfruit truffle! The death by brownie also very good. We also ordered the canneloni, veg pizza, shrimp wrap, and curry fish. All the dishes were substantial and delicious. Definitely worth the visit.

Susanne and Bob, (her husband and passionate chocolatier) the owners of Cafe Cabure, offer an extraordinary variety of special dishes…sweet and sour chicken wrap, homemade lasagna, chicken mole, and fish curry. You will be begging for her recipes each time you visit. Sorry, you'll leave with the joys of savory tastes, but empty handed, except for your purchase of Bob's... More

The food here was delicious! the homemade Lasagna was light and flavorful, the beef was excellent but the best part of all is the scrumptious chocolate truffles for dessert! Tried about 6 different flavors and all of them were awesome! Yummmm!

We loved this restaurant. The owner is so sweet and friendly. We reserved a table with her via email ahead of time because it was Christmas eve. This place is a bit more expensive but the food is worth it. The sea bass was outstanding! She also makes her own chocolates which are great for a little dessert!

On a balcony in the sun, eating splendid food and watching the clouds and light rain course over the crest of the mountain and drench the teaming forest, I found myself wanting to get caught for a while in the moment. I noticed one of the park employees writing prose in a book after her meal, reflective of an optimism,... More

Our hotel hostess recommended the Café Cabure, and we had two enjoyable lunches here. Argentinian food is the theme, but there are plenty of choices on the menu--we enjoyed the tomato soup, salads, and I had a delicious piece of tenderloin. Desserts are also great. There is a nice shady balcony to sit on while you enjoy your meal, and... More

Our host recommended this place for the fine food. Pollo mole was delicious and so was the salad. Really fresh juice and reasonable prices. Fine wine available (Argentinian an Chilean)

We finally got around to having lunch at this cafe. We were thrilled with our food. I had a wrap with chicken and Mole sauce and it was to die for. My husband had a different wrap that was equally as good. So glad we found this place as we ate at a few other places in town and the... More

I made many trips to Cafe Cabure during my November 2014 stay in Monteverde. The food was always fantastic, the owners are charming, and the service was wonderful. Cabure is arguably the best restaurant in town!
