Our second visit and more to come. But be warned; if you think a $22 burger in Maleny, served by someone in a pigtail and superior attitude is the thing to do...don't come here. This is casual dining at it's best and least pretentious. The owners Chierry and Cindy prepare and cook all food on site. And what great food... More

The hills were filled with sunflowers as we drove up.My friend suggested Le Relais Bressan and it did not dissapointed. We lunched in a sunny courtyard, and were served courteously and promptly.we shared a panini loaded with salmon and then chose delectable berry tarts with coffee and tea from a cabinet full of freshly baked goodies.Unbelievable value,$22 for the two of... We love this cafe for the food, service and value. True French Flavours with extraordinary effort going into making a menu that transcends the mediocre cafe fare. Thierry and Cindy and their family make it their business to get to know locals and travellers alike and make their experience special, which is why we keep going back!

Latest visit was for mothers day, taking my partner's mother out to lunch, so four adults on what seemed to be one of the busiest of days for cafes. We were able to make a booking, and our table was prepared when we arrived with water and glasses set out already. We were in a nook near a window in... More

Just the place if you are looking for morning tea (great coffee and fabulous patisseries) or a nice little place for lunch. It wasn't licensed (when we were there) but the salad we had was imaginative and a delight to eat.

I have been going to the original restaurant every time I visited the Sunshine coast and when I made a reservation this time I was concerned to hear that the operation had moved next door and was now a cafe/deli style operation rather than a formal Table d'hote meal. I should not have been concerned. I was with my Wife... More

Enjoyed our experience and the deli foods were yum. Could buy most bits, bit unfortunately not the little onions which were to die for. Also meals and deserts all looked yum too. If had of known not licences would have brought wine, was hard watching other table who knew!

First time visit to this splendid French Cafe. We went next door to the Badgers Firkin English Pub and then had coffee and desert at Le Relais Bressan. Truly amazing service and wonderful coffee and desert. We will be back for a full meal so time soon.

We went to Le Relais Bressan last year after I read some good reviews about the place and wanted to take my partner to a French restaurant (I am French). Utter disappointment. Have the owners changed? Was it just bad luck on a bad day? The food was average. We had the 3-course set menu dinner. Main course was served... More

As regulars at their main venue, we were initially disappointed to hear that owners Thierry and Cindy had moved next door to the more informal French 'tea gardens style cafe', but having gone there for lunch today we could see that there is still the same warm hospitality and welcome from Thierry he always afforded in the main restaurant.
