I have been several times to Sukhothai, for lunch and dinner and I have to say that this is simply the best thai food in Brussels, nothing more to say. the place is smallish but service is good, definitely to recommend

Nice ambiance and friendly staff. As for a Friday evening, the restaurant was quite full and we had to wait long for our dishes. The food was good but not amazing and the portions were small. The price was far too high for what we got.

This restaurant is in European Quarter near the Place Jourdun. There are numerous restaurants in Place Jourdun but this is the only Thai restaurant aound the Place Jourdun. It is open only for lunch and dinner, not all day. It seems like a family restaurant. The husband serves food and his wife was at the front desk. It seems like... More

I have been here several times mostly due to the fact that I love it! The service is great and the spice levels remind me of Thailand. But if you ask they can tone it down. I have not had anything here that was bad, but my favorites are the squid dishes. The service is always friendly and efficient but... More

I recently decided to start to review some places of my home town, Brussels. I'm a fan of Thaï cuisine and this is my absolute favorite place. It's not as famous or trendy as Les Larmes du Tigres, but the food is much better and closer to the real deal. Also, I never had the impression the food was warmed... More

So my better half and I spent the better part of an hour deliberating as to whether we should order room service at our hotel (Sofitel Brussels Europe) or wander down and find somewhere to eat close by (Etterbeek area of Brussels, close to Jourdanplein). After browsing a myriad of restaurants nearby on Trip-advisor, we settled on Sukhothai - after... More

Having heard about this restaurant as one of the best thai food restaurants in Brussels, my expectations were rather high. The food was nice, but way too bland for my taste. Perhaps this is a deliberate choice to please the Belgian clientele, but for me it was a little unsatisfying. The service was very friendly and smiling and the decor... More

Excellent spicy food (but not too spicy). Great fruit for dessert. Really friendly staff. Maybe for some people they might be a bit slow, but if you have time to enjoy your food, it is the right place to go!! Take the advice from the owner - he really can help you to choose from the rather long menu. Wine... More

Picked this place as it was close to my hotel and had good reviews on Tripadvisor, and after a bland meal the night before I was craving some tasty Thai food. Really I would give it 3.5 stars, but that's not possible on the review for whatever reason so I've rounded up to 4 stars. Service was really good, prompt... More

We went there for the first time several years ago because...it was so close (and still is, fortunately!) from our place. From outside, the blue light looked a bit strange.. Still, the food was amazing, real, not "westernized" Thai. Impressive menu, when difficult to chose, trust the owner, trust the chef, they are great in advising, plus the food is... More
