Woukd strongly recommend it for the chilli crab lovers. I will definitely go back for it. As for the decor of the restaurant it is average and service is also average. Great place for malaysian dishes.

We have been eating here for years, but the quality and quantity of the food leaves a lot to be desired now. A few days ago my partner ordered 6 beef and chicken satay sticks. The sticks were thicker than the meat! We complained to the waiter, but he was totally indifferent to us. The Sarawak laksa is always good,... More

I was taken here by a Malaysian friend who told me about the Singapore Crab and the Fish Head soup. I have been there twice and the experience has been pretty consistent. The place is bland with driving school flyers inserted in between the plastic cover and the tablecloth. The menu is frayed at the edges and the service is... More

Went there for lunch today. Ordered chicken rice, chat keow tuay and combo keow tuay. The keow tuay was ok. The chicken rice was horrible. The chicken was definitely left over and was heated up in the microwave oven. Part of the chicken pieces was hard and dark brown in colour which showed that it has been reheated. They tried... More

Quick and cheap - rice and three dishes. The three dishes change but a good variety of Malaysian-style vegetable (okra, long beans, bitter gourd) meat (pork, chicken, beef) and fish ( crisply fried fish, fish-heads). Generally the dishes are heaped on - though they tend to be less generous with the beef-rendang. Remember to ask for some laksa or rendang... More

We were taken by a friend who is Malaysian who recommended the SIngapore chilli Crab and the Fish head curry. We also tried the oatmeal prawns. All were very well cooked and more than made up for the indifferent service and cheap decor. It's all about the food in the end and that's what matters.Prices are reasonable and it's as... More

Sinma Laksa House has a very nice Singapore Chilli Crab. Is it worth the value? It would if the restaurant and waitresses were nicer. The rest of the dishes were also nice and presentable. The current rate for the mud crab is in excess of $80 per kg.

Lots of Singaporean and Malaysian food that is pretty traditional and at a good price. The laksa and teh tarik (type of milk tea) are very good. Situated right on Kingsford round about with easy parking nearby. Lots of locals eating here with plenty of families. There's not much service here, come mainly for food.

We had a lovely meal here recently. We had lived in Ipoh, Malaysia some years ago and it was so nice to revisit some of the food and flavours again. The roti was lovely, the Ma Po Tofu, the satay and ice kachang - and there are some more that I wish to go back to try. The staff were... More

An affordable place for a good selection of Malaysian food although prices have increased over the last few years. Wan Tan Hor and Hokkien Noodle are always our favourite but there is always an inconsistency of flavour each time of our visit. Don't expect service - its like having your meal in one of those coffee shops or "Kopitiam" in... More
