We used to frequent Kam Fook regularly but they are very unethical. One time they charged us for extra dishes which we didn't have and when we pointed this out, they couldn't have cared less. Another time, I had a foreign object is my dumpling, and again, they couldn't have cared less so that was it for us. Never again.

I can't tell you what the food here is like because we couldn't get any service. It was very clear most of the tables around us had been waiting a very long time before we arrived. A better than average Yum Cha, with some hot food, that never is really quite that hot and sometimes a bit greasey, great for lunch, very eastern suburbs, over priced, never really sure that the bill is correct. But all in all, the best Yum Cha in the area.

Convenient location inside Westfield, large and spacious restaurant. Some of the dishes are really special. The service is average at best. Some of the food is not great.

Kam Fook has really gone down hill. Food was greasy and clearly just defrosted and cooked. Service was grudging at best. We had to tidy our own plates away. Really not good.

From our arrival to the finish of the meal it was a terrible experience, nobody appeared to know what they were doing, 3 tables of Asians (bus) loads arrived shortly after we did and that seemed to cause much confusion amongst the staff. After a shocking previous visit to Kam Fook, i dared to venture back, albeit for yum cha. It was much better i didn't get ill! Whilst it's on the expensive side, it was pretty good, service better than expected, apart from an inordinate amount of time to pay.

Poor food, poor service, i got sick after eating here and very, very expensive. Shows how desperate the Eastern suburbs of Sydney are for decent Chinese.
