Great philosophy, excellent food, beautiful terrace

I love this place, it’s the only one I know in canton de Vaud which is so great for vegetarians, or if you are avoiding gluten or lactose. It’s 100% organic but they want to keep it affordable. You have a vast choice of very tasty dishes, created with a lot of fresh herbs and changing by season. I... read more

This place is excellent for organic, gluten-free and lactose-free food. A lot of their ingredients come from their own grounds. The menu is extensive and varied and the food has a lovely fresh, home-made quality to it. You really need a car to get here, as it is located a reasonable distance from the main road. The building itself is... More

I have eaten there many times for several years and was always satisfied. If you are looking for a place serving dishes you haven't eaten numerous times or even seek something vegetarian, Bois Genoud is the place to go. They are rather slow food, not for a quick bite.

This restaurant, in a nice old house outside the city, in the middle of the fields, is really worth the travel. We went for the menu, and everything was good and the ravioli filled with truffe were simply awesome! Portions are quite big, so just be careful not to order too much.. I can only recommend such a restaurant who... More

We went for dinner on Friday evening, the place was busy but not full. The food was expensive and bad. They forgot to put the sauce onto 3 salads, the fish soup was nothing special, the steaks ordered rare where done too much and the veal steak, chicken were dry due to overcooking. We complained, got another plate but the... More

If I do a copy/ paste from others review...... Oasis, good veggie, great Bio food.... I agree with them. A really nice surprise. True like says another review it is a bit out of the way but worth a thousand to do 10 minutes drive from city centre to go there. They grow their own bio veggies... and cook with... More

Our hotel concierge recommended and did not tell us it was a SwFr40 ride eah way, or that is was not "just" a vegetarian restaurant but a restaurant which also serves veggie food. Not waht we wanted. So were were fairly annoyed before we started. The host did everything he could to fix what were not his problems. He arranged... More

This was a very pleasant surprise. Serving Bio. and next to the Rudolf Steiner school of Lausanne you feel as though you've teleported. If you know Crissier it's one busy commercial section offering little to please the eye or palette. This place is to be recommended from its location to the food. Situated in a green field with no obstructing... More

In the middle of the woods an old manor converted into a restaurant only serving biological food. We were able to dine outside with view of garden, woods and the Geneva lake a bit further away. The food was very nice and so were the wines and other drinks. We had a great evening out, thanks also to the very... More

We went here for my husband's birthday in a group of 16. They helped us (non-French speakers) organise a fixed (3-course) menu to suit the occasion and personalised the table settings and arrangements accordingly, with a private room and space for presents etc. The location is near the rather industrial area of Crissier but the restaurant is beautifully situated in...
