Reservation is a must, this palace of culinary delights. From the 1st of April 2012, Philippe Rochat will be replaced by Benoît Violier. Can't wait to go and taste! More

Chez Philippe Rochat has always been our first choice whenever we have something to celebrate. Since Girardet period we have been at Hotel de Ville uncountable number of times, and it's always the best in Switzerland, and among the top list in the world. The chef Rochat will retire this spring, and we're surely going to miss his genius cooking.... More

We went there with a friend" who has a Michelin star in the past . We really enjoyed it but also as he explained in detail the menu card. We've been there once for a lunch as well. Ok you have to bring a big wallet and make a reservation( not for lunch) on a long term. Don't go their... More

Everything was good although we had a feeling that a separation is made between regular customers sitting in 1 room and the ordinary ones sitting in the other. The service can be a little bit stiff but luckily we had a waiter that was open to a laugh. The food is excellent, well served and it follows. I looked forward... More

Wonderful dinner with amazing quality of fish, lobster, moules etc - all prepared to perfection in more traditional French style. Impeccabe service and speed - wine list wine recommendations perhaps slightly sub-par with very high prices and not too many interesting more mature wines, eg from Burgundy. More

Mr. Rochat is a genius and his team is really excellent. Products are finest, presentation and service are perfect... please, just a little more of your delicacies in my plate! Room and furniture are austere... but why looking more than your plate and your partner's eyes, and taste with closed eyes? More

Philippe Rochat is a genius! The kitchen he serves is perfect, every each dish we have had was simply perfect. Started with an Avocado cream with sweet peppers, that a Ying Yang of green peas purée and Oscietra Caviar, went on with red mullet, cep cream soup, langoustines with Madras curry, mussel soup, duckling and at the end the MUST:... what a disapointment.. after looking forward to a visit and salivating over the restaurant web site we experienced the worst value for money restaurant during our trip in europe. we arrived from Austria after a fair drive 15 minutes before 7 pm but had to wait outside while some of the staff where smoking in full view of waitting guest.... It was my second visit to Philippe Rochat and again my stay was pretty disappointing. After the first time was far from a three star experience, I decided to give them another chance and come again. My visit started with the highly rude personnel pouring me the wrong water two times in a row, right after having complained about it.... More

Their service was impeccable. However, the jello amuse bouche was a little weak to start with, and the main dish of scallops with dark sauce had too many flavors. For that price I really expected it to be mind blowing... Pasta with foamed cream sauce appetizer dish was impressive. More
