A dream if you can afford it

I've been there 3 times already and always had a different menu degustation. It's just amazing how the food could reach such a high level. If you have the cahnce to visit the cuisine, do not hesitate. The Chef, Benoit Violier, is a specialist for the "chasse".

I've been there 3 times already and always had a different menu degustation. It's just amazing how the food could reach such a high level. If you have the cahnce to visit the cuisine, do not hesitate. The Chef, Benoit Violier, is a specialist for the "chasse".

What a discrepancy between the high quality of the food and the poor service (except for the sommelier). As we saw the chef when we left, we knew he was present, but he had actually not appeared a single time in the dining room during the 4 hours we spent there. We expected a flawless experience, but it was not.

A wonderful tasting menu, attentive and efficient service, out-of-this-world dishes will make your 4-hour dinner fly by.

Wow! Reputation of being one of the top restaurants in Switzerland, having evolved from days when it was run by legendary Frédy Girardet. As indicated by the other reviewers and restaurant guides, this is a fabulous restaurant. The food was as beautifully presented as it was delicious. This was our third michelin starred place within two weeks and without doubt the nicest experience. This restaurant is superb. We were a party of four and we all had the tasting menu. It was exceptional food accompanied by faultless service. We ended with a most interesting tour of the kitchen. Yes it is expensive even compared with 3 star establishments in London and Paris but it is worth the cost.
