Well executed menu, great service

My husband and I have been looking forward to dine here and was finally able to get a dinner reservation. We arrived and were promptly greeted by the staff. The fine dining experience there changed my view of gastronomic restaurants, by allowing us to see their magical work behind the scenes. Of course everything was done at the highest level possible. Terrific service, unique flavors and a very elegant presentation. We were seated at a table in the kitchen (booked well in advance) and had a chance to admire... More

We have heard the reputation of the restaurant since Girardet and Rochat owned the restaurant, but we never have chance to book it during the Friday and Saturday over 3 past years. It’s always overbooked. Now the Chef Benoit owns the place and we decided to go regardless the weekend availability. We could book the dinner on Thursday night for... More

A magical moment and now a fond memory. A place were the top of the fine cuisine meets the top of the service. If you add a beautiful place were you have enough space to feel like a royality, the warm welcoming (but not too much), the energy and enthousiam of the Chef Benoit Violier... you got the picture. The... More

We have been coming here over the years -for us it's a place to celebrate . We loved Girardet, adored Rochat and what can we say about Violier - only that he is a genius ! The quality of the food is just about the best and the presentation of it , a work of art ! And Benoit Violier... More

What can i say, when food becomes pure emotion and philosophy, it is very difficult to explain and that says it all at the same time, Philippe Rochat truly is on of the masters of its time a real life, Michelangelo or Verrocchio if you wish. I seated at 12:30 for lunch and i got up some around 16:00 noon... More

I've been there 3 times already and always had a different menu degustation. It's just amazing how the food could reach such a high level. If you have the cahnce to visit the cuisine, do not hesitate. The Chef, Benoit Violier, is a specialist for the "chasse".

What a discrepancy between the high quality of the food and the poor service (except for the sommelier). As we saw the chef when we left, we knew he was present, but he had actually not appeared a single time in the dining room during the 4 hours we spent there. We expected a flawless experience, but it was not.
