Location is great, food ok

Located at the boulevard from Campello the restaurant has a large terrace with mostly good chairs. Menus are served just as a la carte. Many Spanish guests next to other europeans. We took the menu of eur 15,- and a bottle of rueda of the same price. For both we must say that the taste is good... read more

Stopped at restaurant Cavia for a cheapie, and sampled the 15 euro luncheon. My wife had a salad and I had croquettes for starters. We both had paella has a main course, and finished up with ice cream. All washed down with a bottle of house red at 6 euros which didnt taste bad at all, and two coffees, all... More

Nice Tapas in old spanish style. Friendly service and almost on the beach. We sat outside and a beautifull sea side

We stopped here for a quick lunch en route to the airport. Three of the four of us chose the 15 euro 'menu de hivierno'; three courses from a fair-sized list, with the ubiquitous 'one drink' (in our case a glass of wine, of which the red was eminently quaffable but the white absolutely filthy) and toasted (yesterday's) bread, ready... Looks quite nice from the outside, but the food and service are, if you are really lucky, just below average. That said, apart from La Cova, all the restaurants alongside the littoral are fairly poor - at least the others are cheaper!

This beach side restauarant is one of the oldest in Campello with mature attentive long serving staff, serving high quality Itallian food, the prices aren't the cheapest but the food is worthy of the cost.
