Best place in Chincha

Best and only place to stop for food while passing through Chincha. The restaurant is next to a gas station and may not look very appealing but the food is FABULOUS. The restuarant also has a bakery that is worth visiting. I had the tacu tacu that was amazing. PS.

We stopped on the way to paracas. The place is within a gas station so we has low expectations. The food was outstanding... We enjoyed grilled lenguado with rice and with a nice salad of tomato and avocado (we asked without onion)

It is on the highway, Pan American, in a gas station. We did not expect anything more gourmet then a 7-11 store but we were pleasantly surprised. I ordered a stuffed fish, which came dressed between two seashells, with asparagus spears, perfectly cooked and drizzled with a sauce. Even the mashed potatoes were good. All the rest of the food... A special place, easy to find at Chincha. I eat a perfect tuna, but you need to taste the carapulcra, a regional speciality.

We were here several years ago, and very pleased this place wasn't wiped out by the earthquake a couple of years back. We revisted 2 days ago, and were pleased to find the food better than ever! THe scallops (conchitas a la parmesana) were terrific. The Pescado a lo macho, fish with seafood sauce served on a bed of rice... More

Food was really good, I had the lamb with rice and beans, Amazing! the "sopa seca" (dry soup) wasn't really my taste... kinda weird combination. Place is big, not too many parking spaces, but there was a guard to help us find a space, there is a hostess but not a sign telling where to find her, and some people... More

Nice stop in the Panamerican Highway when you want to go to Paracas or any place in Ica Region. Service is outstanding even when you go during holidays, the food tastes as home-made and is very good.

When the sun is hot and the trip still needs to go on for a while and you need a rest this is the perfect spot. The food and service where really good and friendly. And don't forget to take some empanadas for the road.

Typical seafood restaurant tours to Paracas, Ica and Nazca. Very easy to find is just finishing the Chincha town on the main road on then REPSOL gas station. Everything is fantastic, but the Leche de Tigre, the empanadas are amazing.
