We returned to Stamps for a light lunch on a bitterly cold January day. Delicious paninis - ham & chedder and bacon & brie in lovely warm fresh bread. Service was quick and polite. Although the clientele is predominantly locals and shoppers, walkers and cyclists are particularly welcome. Stamps is a consistently 'safe bet' and is deservedly popular.

First visit & will definitely go back. Lovely friendly staff, clean & warm atmosphere. Light snack & coffee, lovely, & then tempted by excellent pastries made by local bakery...excellent.

As we had been here last year for christmas afternoon tea which we enjoyed , we booked again last week, food was good but had to pay for extra tea and coffee and even the ladies who liked weak tea said it was very weak, will not be visiting again and will not recommend to family and friends

I had never been to Stamps before and was pleasantly surprised. My friend had booked afternoon tea for us all.The cafe was warm and felt friendly. The staff where really nice and attentive, kept coming back to fill up the tea pots and nothing was a problem. The food was delicious and plentiful. The cafe was really busy and seemed... More

Rang to book for afternoon tea and professional efficient service from beginning to end. Nothing was too much trouble, the quality and presentation of the offer was amazing. Staff friendly and helpful. It was very busy but prompt courteous service meant no delays, the service is well organised and set out and the array of cakes was awesome. First time... More

The place seems to be thriving with lots of local people which is supposed to be a good sign. However, if you are not local and don't know the system, it is not so good. The food was OK but nothing special. My wife ordered a pulled pork roll which had a very strong BBQ flavour - if you are... More

Im not one for band wagons so I discovered this place when getting an ice cream (apparently there is only one place in G.Ayton to go for ice cream, I beg to differ) When dining the cost in comparison to food portions is very reasonable. Good hearty food with some lovely home made cakes on show to tempt your sweet... More
