Birthday Lunch

After being served bread etc waited half an hour before our orders were taken. However when the food arrived we all enjoyed salmon, seafood pate, followed by sea bass and pork cheeks, then berry mess . Well done will come again. Service could be improved chef excellent.

We came for another meal today and it was excellent. All four of us had two course's from the set menu which was amazing. Perfectly cooked meats, potatoes and a generous portion of mixed fresh vegetables and so reasonably priced. The service was of a really high standard both attentive and friendly yet not intrusive all finished off with a... More

Food was lovely and good value, husband had the steak and it was great. i found a lead shot in my pigeon, obviously i wasnt amused but ive never eaten game meats before so i didnt realise at the time that can be quite normal, but however, since googling i have heard that it is quite easily removed on raw... We noticed that the restaurant had undertaken a name change since we had seen it last, and thought it would be worth giving it a try. They are currently doing lots of things well, but sadly our experience of the food isn't quite up to the standards that I think they would like to achieve. One of the things I... More

Having visited the 'Blue Bridge' on a good few occasions, this was the first time we'd been to the re-vamped 'Bridge Street Lounge and Grill', and what a disappointment. Over priced, (and we don't mind paying for a good night out ...), and totally underwhelmed. The problem is with the management, or lack of it, front of house. The girl... More

An early impromptu meal turned into a fantastic evening. We hadn't booked but was quickly shown to a table. The decor is fab, service is attentive but not over the top. Some little extras thrown in for good measure, complimentary bread, straight from the oven and a little mini pre starter of goats cheese and pickled beet root was a... More

Went for the 2 course lunch had the shellfood cassoulet and the pan fried sea bass. Tasty and nicely presented. One sullen waitress but most staff were customer centred and absolutely charming. Well worth a visit. Unusual decor=a cow wearing Beats!!

There is no doubt the food is very good. All courses were very nice. One less positive aspects, the drinks are expensive. Just be warned.
