Had a fabulous meal with generous portion sizes, lovely decor, with very attentive helpful great staff! The food can be a bit hot and spicy! Watch out for the homemade lime pickle! Wonderful but best had in small portions. The tandoori chicken was perfect and chicken dhansak was great too!

Literally walked out of this restaurant 10mins ago and had to write this review after reading the ups and downs people have previously written The Sitar in Holetown is amazing I actually believe it to be better than in Glasgow Food was outstanding, service was the same Price wise we were $149 bds Which again was reasonable ! Would definitely... More

I would love to know which Indian restaurant the critics of Sitar eat at in the UK. I have eaten at a wide range of Indian restaurants across the UK, including some of the best rated, as well as Worldwide including India. The Sitar is not the best but its perfectly good by any realistic standards. We had a wide... More

Lovely waitress. Food was poor. I make better Indian , with a jar of patak's sauce. So not great value. Everything is pricey, as are other restaurants. The place wanted doing up. The location is very seedy. 1st/2nd street, the place wants redeveloped. Maybe that's why their all so expensive. As I've said before, you'll only come once, nothing would... More

It was a rainy night but we were looking forward to an Indian meal. We were the only people in. The food wasn't great The staff tried hard, suspect it is better in the season

Amongst a throng of average/overrated restaurants in the Holetown area, this Indian establishment is actually pretty good. On our travels, I find eating out for Indian food can be very hit or miss. The food is of high standard – try the ginger naan. We also enjoyed the Lamb Saag & Chicken Korma – came back another night and had... More

Sitar is a nice enough restaurant, the menu is varied and the staff are efficient and polite. I felt the curry lacked some depth in flavour which was disappointing. The Peshwari naan didn't really taste as sweet as you might expect and the lime pickle was somewhat acrid. However, the portions were of good size and all freshly cooked and... More

We popped to this restaurant whilst holidaying in Barbados. It is a stones throw away from the Mango Bay which is where we were staying. Lovely food and wine, service top class. Would recommend this restaurant.

Great curry.. All food tasted so fresh and lovely.. A must try is the ginger naan bread. Service was friendly and it's great value for money in an expensive town!
