Antico Caffè San Giorgio in Castelmola overlooks the beautiful and scenic place to monumental 'entrance to the village, greeting, with its inviting feel, from 1907 visitors to the small village ... Here in this historic bar you can enjoy a natural relaxation and always enjoying the now famous Blandanino Almond wine, produced with fine grapes, almonds and Sicilian secret essences. At this very historic Caffè its founder, Don Vincenzo Blandano created the wine flavored with almonds, which he called his "Blandanino", a mysterious and dark amber liquor into which merged different odors and flavors of Sicily, including the almond, the raisins, spices, orange blossom and jasmine.

This restaurant is in the main piazza in Castelmola with amazing views of Mount Etna. We ate here three times in the past ten days. The pizzas are great, but they also do really good lamb cutlets, and the chips are wonderful! Very friendly service too. A family business.

Busy little cafe style restaurant with limited seating inside but plenty of room outside on the front or on the terrace on the side of the building. We arrived on a rare rainy day which delayed our food as the stone oven for the pizza is outside. Well worth the short wait though. Very good value for money with 6... More

The view is second to none, on a clear day you can see the mainland of Italy! The history of the cafe is also a marvel, make sure to look at the old black and white photos on the wall to the left when you come in. The postcards they sell here are also just as atmospheric. The menu is... More

We visited Castelmola on a whim having read about the views on Citalia.com. This cafe was the first in view when reaching the piazza. As we only wanted a snack we decided to sit here and admire the views. We weren't disappointed. The menu was cheap and the food good. Probably the best brushetta I have had yet and only... More

Lovely views from the top of Castelmole and the food was excellent. Two pizzas we had and they could not be faulted. Service was very slow; 2 tables who sat down 5 and 10minutes after us got ordering before us etc. Took 80minutes from first sitting down to finishing our 2 pizzas. If you do not mind the wait; the... My husband and I were in this charming Castelmola village on our honeymoon. Everything about this village is like in a fairy tale, just like this lovely little bar. It is situated on the main Castelmola square, so you can sit there, enjoy panoramic view to Taormina, Etna and the sea and drink their Vino alla Mandorla and eat those... More

Great place for a drink and snack - all overlooking Taormina and the Ionian sea. A popular spot in the main square where the bus stops. Good selection of drinks and basic food. Our aperiitifs came with small snacks.

Wish we had stayed for more than an espresso but were lookig forward to the hike back to Taormina from Castelmola. The view from the cafe is spectacular so do stop for coffee and biscotti. We bought our one bottle of Vino all Mandoria here and now wish we had gotten more.
