The bar Turrisi is a place of worship located in Castelmola. Founded in 1947 at the hands of the rider Salvatore Turrisi, was born as an inn for foreigners where they were sipping tasty almond wine made with white grapes and infusion of bitter almonds. Structure after the war that has turned into a hotel, here you can enjoy over the almond wine, pizzas, pasta dishes ices and ice cream. Also extends over four elevations with views of the Duomo of Castelmola Gulf of Giardini Naxos and Mount Etna. He became famous for his sculptures representing the phallic worship and the very free social custom that made Taormina a cultural reference for many artists and not. Many magazines show us how one of the attractions of Sicily, but we like to think that convey a thought of being Sicilian and freedom of expression, in a structure difficult to manage since the 4 levels. Who does not know how to interpret these places far from wanting to be rude, and does not know or does not have the respect of all that, the place to find elsewhere.

They carry out a theme in every single detail. This makes the experience very unusual and very memorable. There is something interesting to see everywhere you look. Oh, and did I mention that the theme is phallic art? Actually, the food is also good and the view overlooking this beautiful town is amazing. If you are in Castelmola, you really... More

OK, let me preface this by saying if you're easily offended, this may NOT be the place for you, LOL. Tucked away on a little mountainside street near the center of Castelmola, this caffe/bar has to be seen to be believed - the largest collection of erotic art I've seen outside of a museum. Maybe even larger! Climb up to... More

Bar Turrisi is one of the most iconic watering holes in all of Castelmola—perhaps even all of Sicily. This is not because of their menu: a standard assortment of snacks both sweet and savory, limoncello, almond wine, grape wine, beers, and various liquors. It is because of the bar’s queer décor. It can be described only as an “homage to... More

The caffe bar turrisi somehow has a Quaint feeling yet 4 floors. The Greek mixed Sicilian decor is a one in a million site. Priced remarkably well, so order big and take the food and drink back to your villa.

This place is worth a visit. Sit down, have a coffee and look around. The staff is friendly and offers you a taste of the traditional almon wine when you pay.
