Great food in friendly atmosphere

Another total surprise, hidden away but not difficult to reach. Excellent local seafood dishes, combining tradition and innovation. Maybe the wine list could have been a bit more inclusive and daring. Friendly and attentive service.

Nice people. vry friendly but also extremely tight to what they do. Nice food, based on local tradition but creative, too. Great quality and some touch of creativity that is Always more than welcome. Rather ugky location, close to the Cala Ginepro hotel, but, in the end, who cares? It's good and its people are nice... all that you need... More

We were very excited to eat here. The ambiance was so adorable, and the owner so nice. Unfortunately the food was not so great. We had eaten in other places we had really loved, but here we were just plain disappointed. We had to wait a long time to be served. And also I had ordered a bottarga pasta which... More

Almost hidden away along a small strip-mall on the Ginepro side of Cala Liberotto, this small gem: La Briciola, a Trattoria serving excellent locally sourced food. Small menu, with additional 'specials'. Food cooked with love and great care. Good quality house wines, short wine list. Proud and friendly owners and staff. Very little English spoken (there are English and German... More

Unfortunately we had very mixed feelings leaving this restaurant - most of the food was exceptional, except for one dish. I have to say the starter (although small) was lovely and was probably the nicest seafood starter we ordered in Sardinia. For mains - I ordered the seafood ravioli which was really nice and shared a grilled swordfish with my... More

Went there for lunch because of the reviews. Not only was the "Mama" welcoming, warm and very kind, the food was absolutely fantastic. We went for all sea food and everything from the tuna carpaccio to the Vongole Black Pasta (it was the day's special) was fresh, tasty, and fantastic. Best meal in Sardinia so far.

Louisa and son Pino were very gracious hosts, and the food is excellent. Ate there twice during a week's stay, and enjoyed excellent seafood, good house wine and prompt lovely service. Try the fritto misto or the spaghetti gamberi and you won't be disappointed.

We had carpaccio di pesce de spada two days in a row, and the quality was definitely declining. Even in low season with hardly any customers, the seafood must be consistently fresh. If it is not, then serve well-cooked meals instead of raw fish, or even better, close the restaurant for the season, because low quality means disappointed customers.

My boyfriend and I stayed near this restaurant for summer vacation.- We've been there continuously for our dinner, which is amazing!!! Menu of the day is very satisfactory for seafood lover like us!!! "tagliolini al Nero di seppia con vongole e bottarga" "spagetti con Ricci di mare" is so delicious!!!!-regular menu is also great!! The staff at the restaurant are... More
