Thirsty Turtle is one of our favorite places to hang out on the island! What makes it special for us is the staff! Everyone is so friendly and always happy to see you. Our two favorite servers are Carolina and Albert. Over our weeks time we ate and had drinks here several times. We never had a bad meal and... More

Pizza and beers in this beach bar was a great Friday night. They had 3 guys playing guitar in the evening. Good prices and delicious wood fired pizza.

Only stopped for a couple of beers, great spot on the beach. The food that past by us looked good, the only reason we didn't eat there is we'd recently been fed. Service was friendly and the facility was clean and nice.

Very happy with the Thirsty Turtle...thanks to them, we had one of our most memorable Thanksgivings ever eating pizza in a windstorm on the beach!!! But hey, they were open, and the pizza was good. Coconut shrimp were my favorite, though -- huge portions. And try the breakfast -- $7 for 2 baleadas, coffee and juice that were one of... More

I just returned from a trip to Roatan (last night!), and am already eager to return! I found the Thirsty Turtle on Day 1 of my trip, and literally ate there at LEAST 1x per day for the rest of my vacation. The location is unbeatable - literally steps from the white sand Tabyana beach, with a stunning view of... More

Had dinner here two times and both were very good. Ate at the bar both times and the service and food were very good. One night they had a three piece band playing and that really got people singing and dancing. Fun Place!

hubby liked the pulled pork sandwiches and I was a fan of the coconut shrimp. Great service from the staff and loved the fresh juices that we had for breakfast.

I just returned from a week in Honduras staying at Bananarama. We ate at Thirsty Turtle over half of the time, since it's on the resort property. My sister and I ate pizza almost every night, while our friends sampled different meals. during our stay, it was my birthday. My sister and our friends tried to get a cake during... More

While vacationing in a foreign country, I always eventually come to crave something that tastes like home. This pizza was comparable to some of the BEST pizza I have had at home. It is brick oven style, which I happen to love, and tasted like something I would have in a good pizza joint in the Midwest. (which is home... More
