And the pizza... and the lobster... and the Monkey Lalas!!! A great, relaxed, place for breakfast, lunch (pizza and a beer is great), dinner and drinks, right on the beach.
Although we stayed at Infinity Bay, we spent more time at this bar. Better seating, better football viewing (it rained nearly the whole trip or else we would NOT have been watching TV) and some fun events (hermit crab races for charity, music trivia). The bartenders were so nice it was hard to believe. Not only did they introduce themselves,... More
We stayed at a nearby resort so this was the closest place to eat. Breakfasts were served with a fresh juice every morning, fresh squeezed orange, lemon, melon or other local fruit juice. We had breakfast French toast, breakfast pizza, omelette and other egg/or another hot option each day. My favorite dish was the coconut shrimp. Onion rings were good,... More
We stayed on the east side of the island and we were on a day trip and we arrived at Thirsty Turtle Bar and Grill. We had Fredy as our waiter and he was awesome very quick and efficient. We had pizza and it was amazing! Next time we visit Roatan we would like to stay on the west end... More
We stayed in Roatan in Feb. we spent several days hanging in the bar swings at the Thirsty Turtle. The drinks were great, Strong and Tasty and the fish taco's delicious. Eddison Mann was our bartender several times and always took great care of us. Recently we went back and it was great to go back and see Eddie again.... More
I stayed at Bananarama Resort for just a weekend while in San Pedro Sula for business. I was very happy with the Thirsty Turtle as far as the food and service goes. I enjoyed some great dips and the salsa was very fresh. I had a dip called the "Roatan Dip" I think...??? Victor and Freddy took care of me,... More
We stopped in Roatan on our recent cruise, and spent a few hours at the beach here, as part of an Island Tour. The service was very friendly and accomodating. Our food was delicious -- my husband and I each had the a pulled pork wrap. Couple that with the fact that there was live calypso music, and that we... More
The pizzas here are fantastic! I mean, yum! And at around $15 for two larges you can't beat the price. Carolina was our waitress and she was the sweetest, kindest person who really tried hard to make our dining experience amazing. We came back just to see her, but we found the food to be pretty basic when we tried... More
I had the coconut shrimp. I thought there was too much breading which was almost as thick as the shrimp. The batter did taste good with a hint of orange flavor which was nice. The drinks were good and the location is great, right on the beach.
Great rustic little restaurant right on the beach. Food was good. We enjoyed the crab races. Music was really enjoyable and they had fire dance performers. Definitely recommend this place.
