Before arriving on the Island, we looked for a sushi place near our resort and found their website. We knew that reservations were required, so we were quite surprised when our concierge at the resort said no reservations were necess ary. After checking in, we walked up to the "restaurant" to find that it was just a house (not on... More

We had a dinner at that place and we were not impressed at all. Not the food and not the atmosphere. The quality of the sushi is close to average the experience in a typical sushi restaurant. The atmosphere is also inappropriate, we were seated in a regular house in a room that was supposed to be a bedroom. My... More

The poor rating in this review is a less a function of food quality and more representative of the overall experience at this "restaurant" (the latter in quotes because it's really just a private home that serves sushi to people who call ahead.) My take on the food: rolls are good, sashimi is chintzy with amateur cuts, the soups and... More

Everything was fresh and delicate. We find the palate very clean and very fresh. Every bite was full of taste of the seafood. Love it a lot!!! Wish we have 2 stomach each...

You really must have a reservation. There are only 2 or 3 tables in this lovely place. The owners take great care in both service and quality of food. highly recommend!

Wonderful sushi including Hako roll(a pressed sushi not available in many sushi places). MUST have reservation and call ahead with order because all sushi made to order and purchased ingredients that day. Expect to wait as owner lovingly takes his time in prep. Really good desserts Will pay more than sushi in states but with only 2 or 3 tables... More

After being in Honduras for almost 3 weeks, we were craving something different and this place did the trick. We were the only diners there and it was slightly uncomfortable as you are dining in the owners private home. I think if there had been more people there it would have been a bit better. There was nothing to complain... More

Nearing the end of a two week vacation, my sushi loving family was craving sushi, and this met the bill! Eric and Lela were great hosts, and everything tasted great. Reservations are needed and it's cash only.

Eric and Lela know their sushi. I started with the miso soup which is tastier than any other I have had. My favorite this last time was the Marlin roll. The presentation, quality and atmosphere are just perfect! Reservations are needed and it's cash only.
