Bidon a trendy place - Bidon delivers a nice meal

Were there, 2 colleagues for lunch last Friday. Daily menu is interesting. Regular menu always applies. Make a reservation. Service is ok. Difficult to have a window table even with a reservation made 4 days ahead of lunch.

I went their for my birthday celebration with a friend and had the most amazing gastronomic experience. Everything was just perfect! We ordered different entrées and main dishes, and the generous portions enabled us to taste each others dishes. My Foie Gras Torchon entrée and the Jarret d'Agneau (lamb shank) main dish were both were both cooked to perfection. For... More

Located in the "Village" of St-Lambert, this friendly pub-bistro style restaurant offers an interesting if somewhat eclectic menu, attentive staff and an interesting wine list. Their Monday night special of five or six different wine bottles offered at $20 is a great value.

We were 3 adults who often dine at high-end restaurants that Le Bidon is trying to imitate. We ordered the mojito that was really 3/4 ice: disappointing. We had the caesar salad which really was drowning in dressing: wayyy too much! The lardon bits were a good touch though. I had the steak which was quite good once I scraped... More

Went for a late afternoon snack with a glass of wine. We had the cesar salad and pork ribs in general tao sauce - it was excellent and well presented. Service was good. Price is a little steep.

C,est magnifique!! I have tried almost all menu, and I can't tell you what is the best option. In my opinion, le confit de canard + la poutine au smoked meat + le pouding chömeur + a Blanche de Chambly beer = the perfect combination!!

Went to Bidon last night with a group of friends had an amazing meal! Everyone one raved about the yummy food, and excellent service. Only problem was we were asked to leave at 8pm since another group was comming in for our table, a little rude as we would have stayed and enjoyed dessert and coffees. Might be back if... More

Another birthday, another wonderful evening spent at Bidon. Mondays are always a great night because it's quieter, and the restaurant has a selections of their wines available for $20 a bottle, the "vin-vingt" special. We were seated upstairs, next to the bar, which I found much warmer and cozier than the downstairs dining area next to the drafty patio windows.... More
