Went in for a beer and a late bite to eat. Ordered potato skins and what we got was something that had been cooked at some previous time and then warmed up. They were burnt and dried out. No Canadian made draft beer anymore. Bud Lite or Rolling Rock....ugh. Beer price is too high and when I complained bar tendered... More

above average food for what we expected. Went in with low expectations (worn - needs a reno & gets a 6 out of 10 on cleanliness). The salad bar was okay, but nothing special. Ribs were fall off the bone good. We are on the Atkins Diet (Protein with low carbs, no sugar) so asked for the ribs with no... More

Average fish restaurant among many to choose from. Right near the beach so a lot of people coming and going. The fish was okay and fresh. Service a little slow (1 1/2 hours for lunch)

Good portions, good service, good fish. I go here every time I am in town. They never disappoint. Thank you. The best perch in town

Spent a nice evening in here eating with the kids. The portion sizes were huge and we ate enough to sink the ship! I felt they could make more of the fact that the fish is local and done a bit more than just fry it, everything seemed to come in a nice even brown coating. It was still a... More

Go for the fresh-caught fish... yum! Salad bar: okay. Sides: ho hum. Desserts: not bad. Fried perch and pickerel: OMG! and abundant, too.

I was invited out to dinner one night after a victory Hockey match to this restaurant. Best Perch I've ever had, service and food is great, a definite must try if you're ever in Dover!

I was seated quickly at a nice table with a small view of Lake Erie. Ordered a glass of Pinot Grigio and it arrived filled to the brim. The perch platter for $16.95 included a choice of potato, slaw, roll, 4 pieces of perch and a trip to the salad bar. The salad bar wasn't large but had fresh carrot... More

This is our 3rd visit to Fisherman's Catch Bar and Restaurant in Port Dover. Each one has been enjoyable! Basic decor, fish themes, seating in two rooms, one with large windows. Nothing fancy, just very good food! We had the grilled chicken breast covered with peameal bacon, cheddar cheese and mushrooms. It came with potato, coleslaw and al dente veggies.... More
