Excellent Fish....Wonderful Waitress

Stopped with the family for an early dinner (4:30 pm arrival), after an outing at a local attraction. We drove through Dover looking for a nice fish dinner, and boy did we get one...!! Our server was excellent and on the ball. There were only a couple of other tables, and we had the front... read more

Service is good, food fairly average. The pickerel was not very fresh (surprising as it is a fishing port). Fries were ordinary, tartar sauce out of a bottle. Almond crusted Brie very good as well as their home made relish. Salad bar looked dismal

I have ate here a few times and no complaints. The Perch platter awesome, includes salad bar roll and butter. Fries are a side order. The Perch cooked to perfection NO BONES FOUND. The Platter very plentiful with thick pieces of Perch. They also have Perch dinner as well as other dinners on the menu. I found the staff very... More

My husband ended up in the ICU after eating in this restaurant. When I called them to tell them, they were rude and said that they had never had a complaint like that before. No I'm so sorry, or that was unfortunate. Would never go back there.

The service was very friendly and quick , just had a couple of apps after a round of golf . The menu is simple but has a bit of everything . Today it was the feature that impressed " perch sliders " . A very nice atmosphere .

Love the atmosphere, service and food quality at this restaurant! It is not excessive or flashy, but that really lets the food shine! The perch is exceptional the appetizers are tasty and fun and the salad bar is perfectly old school. I think the tradition of the place is a big asset - the décor may seem like it hasn't... More

Very poor service, terrible salad bar The place wasn't busy and the waitress couldn't be bothered to find out what was in the soup of the day even when she was asked twice. We were 6 people at the table, 3 ordered a sandwich with fries and gravy and all they got were the sandwiches. Fries and gravy were asked... More

Two of us visited on a hot Sunday afternoon in May and we enjoyed a fine dinner. The location is convenient, directly across the street from the Erie Beach Hotel. The washrooms were very clean. The hostess was friendly and happy. Brooke was our server and she was knowledgeable and very helpful and completely efficient. My wife had the Perch... More

Very popular place in Port Dover. had lunch here with some motorbike friends. Service can be fast but our table suffered a bit form very slow service. Rest of the tables were done by the time our meals arrived. I had a beef barley soup and a western both of which were really good. Served piping hot so that helped.... More
