Drinks and played pool

Fun place for drinks and socializing. Interesting crowd with some locals, some tourists and cottagers and some boaters who clearly have some cash. They seem to mix fairly well. We were on a motorcycle trip and ended up playing pool with some boaters. Staff were friendly but busy and bartender... read more

A welcoming atmosphere in a small town that has limited options for meals. The menu was extensive and the food fantastic. Even though they were extremely busy the service was excellent. They need a bigger patio.

While in Little Current we stopped in for dinner on a busy Saturday night in July. There are not that many places to eat in the area. The Anchor in was packed and there was a line of people waiting to get in. The restaurant patio with a view of the water was packed and the dining room was just as... More

Stopped in on my way through town. Kind of a tradition. Had a beer on the veranda. Food was good, beer was cold, wait staff were attentive and life just doesn't get much better than this. :-)

On the advice of trip advisor we choose this spot. Upon arrival on a Sunday morning we found the place empty and two staff chatting to each other three feet away from us. After a couple of minutes we left as they didn't acknowledge our existence. We walked out to see the Anchor Inn Hotel across the street! We were... More

One of the few places to eat in Little Current.....the wait staff were great...very attentive and friendly....found the food to be on the expensive side, given the physical setting....had the whitefish one night and found it undercooked without any of the advertised dill seasoning....the burger the second night was dry and over cooked, but the the sweet potato fries were... Lunch hour stopped in for a meal; good beer, pleasant wait staff, burger was good. Unfortunately the Pickerel was small, not a good cut, and expensive.

Had the whitefish sandwich with smashed potatoes and loved it. A bit expensive, but it is a common issue on the whole island. The fish is local but can be more expensive than it is in Toronto, lol!. Great location, staff is friendly.

We sat outside with view of water. Our server was terrific. Love the fish tacos with the local whitefish and the salad with whitefish. Enjoyed the local craft brews from Manitoulin and Sudbury. Easy walk from the motel. Also easy parking on street.
