Delicious food

Delicious food, the meat, the fish, everything. The meat is grown on the fields next doors. Don't come on Sunday, the service is much slower because of the crowd. It's worth to come!

You will never leave here hungry. Grilled aged meat from their farm is a must try. A well oiled , service minded , family run establishment.

Great Chateaubriand. Ribeye steak: choose the aged one. Big portions. Friendly service, long wait when full. Lovely garden and outside dining.

Invited by one of our friends who knew this restaurant, we had lunch with a party of five on the terrace outside. Even though we had made reservations, on arrival no specific table was reserved for us, although the place was quite crowded. We had an apértif, starters - not all five dishes came at once so one of us... More

Went here as part of the Quasimodo tour. Our lunch was a cheese sampler with a delicious Belgian waffle for dessert. Excellent service. Quaint dining area. Across from the restaurant is a large sculpture garden.

Hof ter Doest is located in Lissewege in a beautiful location. The staff is friendly and the food, especially the meat, is exceptional! Portions are really big and even if it's a bit more expensive, it's worth every penny. I've visited the restaurant several times now and the only time I didn't enjoy it as much was on a busy... Hof Ter Doest is, in my opinion, one of the greatest restaurants in Belgium. Not only does it have unexcelled food, but a large grassed area around the monastery built a thousand years ago. That area has a lot of sculptures, wich you can admire any time you want and adds value to the location. It is very secluded and... More

The diner was excellent, beatifull meat, cooked to perfection in large portions. The second time I dined here at saturday evening with my family. The... More

We went to hof ter doest for dinner on a Sunday night. Booking a table was not a problem. My friend had schlump Crocker and I had marrowbones. Nicely cooked. For the main course we had grilled hate which came with pear, wild mushrooms and Savoy cabbage. The hare was great. We had enough to eat and decided against a... More
