Came for dinner, but decided to split a bunch of apps instead of entrees. We enjoyed the appetizers and local wine. The broccoli fritters and fresh oysters were the most notable though. Louisiana onion soup was good, but the calamari wasn't. All and all Foia is great restaurant. We look forward to coming back.

Had a wonderful meal and great service, however the live DJ was playing music so loud that it disturbed the ambiance of an otherwise classy place.

enjoyed an incredible dinner, just blew us away, absolutely fine dining, excellent staff, food is incredible. Sat outside, just needed a 'time out' to relax with some dinner, first time here but certainly this will be our 'go to' restaurant from this point forward. We could not believe how good the food was, a real chef in-house who served our... More

what an experience! Went in this past Friday for the first time. There was a buzz when we walked in as the bar was packed with people enjoying themselves. Had really good service all night long. As one of the previous reviews said when it is a weekend and this place is busy it's not a place to rush in... More

Foia is, without a doubt, the best place to eat in Tecumseh. If you want intimate, they can do that. if you want a large group, they can do that. If you just want to go for a good dinner, they can do that. Great attention to detail they provide great service without being overly intrusive. The owner is there,... More

Went into foia two weeks ago with friends for the first time in about a year and a half. It is perhaps one of the best meals I have had in this city. I was very surprised because last time I was in the food was not that special but this meal was a hole new experience. The menu read... More

Ate there yesterday with colleagues from work. Found the experience to be awesome! Great service, great food and always very fresh. Excellent wine selection. I particularly enjoyed the fact that the portions were reasonable and not Americanized to be 2x.

We first discovered Foia to host our wedding rehearsal dinner. We had never eaten there before so Rosario invited us to have dinner there to get a taste of what he had to offer. As we entered the restaurant the atmosphere was modern and elegant. He had the main dining area designed so the the walls could be moved to... More

What I did eat while I was there was: Bread service- Bread was hard and ice cold, as if it had just come from the refrigerator. Bruschetta - Cold, dry, bland. Basically a lump of minced garlic and diced tomatoes. No onion, basil, olive oil, salt or pepper. Pathetic. Shrimp - Hard, rubbery, bland. Very overcooked. Devoid of seasoning. Looks... More

Having been to Foia several times I must say it continues to be at the top of my list for places to eat in this area. The service is always friendly and efficient but the new menu items win my praises. They are creative and absolutely delicious, especially the rice balls! The potato and leek soup with gorgonzola is rich... More
