Cozy Pub!

We happened upon this pub restaurant on our way to Champlain Lookout in Gatineau Park. It was the perfect place to stop for lunch. It’s a cozy spot with a relaxed vibe. The food was really good and the waiters were friendly. Our meals came very quickly even though the place was packed. We... read more

I love this little pub. The interior decor is amazing with sliding barn door bars and mason jar chandeliers. Love the barn house feel. The food is notches above standard pub fare with offerings such as lobster ravioli and nicoise salad. A must-go!

The place always looks busy as you pass it on the way to the ski trails and hills of Gatineau Park. The Pub is rustic inside as befits a place that caters to locals and skiers in the winter, and hikers and cyclists at other times. You will be welcome whether you are still dressed for sport or not. The burgers... More

I try to go here a few times a year. It is a beautiful little spot worth the drive. Food and service are always fantastic.

I went there during the summer time with a large group of people (we were about 15). I was quite impressed that they were very organized with their time to bring the food. Everyone at the same time and we did not wait long for it. Staff was kind and the food was delicious (however 2 people at the table... More

Last weekend, I visited a friend from Ottawa who took us to lunch at his favorite pub outside of the city. I had French Onion soup, a huge portion of flavorful broth full of onions and topped with lots of gooey hot cheese and just enough homemade bread. It was onion soup the way onion soup should be. One of... More

I've always enjoyed the idea of going to the chelsea pub as its so cute and warm to look at! My best expierence has been a cup of tea and share a bowel of chips! Otherwise when I've ordered other options of meals and booze it's just to pricey and the service takes soooo long! I've been often and I... More

I've been here a few times. Always a busy spot in the summer. Decent pub food. Ordered the fish and chips. Fish was good, fries were soggy.

I recently visited this restaurant while visiting friends who live close by. They eat there fairly regularly and with good reason. It has warm rustic vibe and is a great place to hang out and have a bite to eat and a drink or to. Everything a pub should be. We had wings as an app and then I had... More

Hiked Gatineau Parc with my wife the stopped into the pub for lunch. The pub had a lot of character and even though the place was busy we were seated immediately. I had a a wood oven pizza with red onions and havarti cheese; my wife had the soup of the day. Both meals were enjoyed as well as the... More
