I try to go here a few times a year. It is a beautiful little spot worth the drive. Food and service are always fantastic.

I went there during the summer time with a large group of people (we were about 15). I was quite impressed that they were very organized with their time to bring the food. Everyone at the same time and we did not wait long for it. Staff was kind and the food was delicious (however 2 people at the table... More

Last weekend, I visited a friend from Ottawa who took us to lunch at his favorite pub outside of the city. I had French Onion soup, a huge portion of flavorful broth full of onions and topped with lots of gooey hot cheese and just enough homemade bread. It was onion soup the way onion soup should be. One of... More

I've always enjoyed the idea of going to the chelsea pub as its so cute and warm to look at! My best expierence has been a cup of tea and share a bowel of chips! Otherwise when I've ordered other options of meals and booze it's just to pricey and the service takes soooo long! I've been often and I... More

I've been here a few times. Always a busy spot in the summer. Decent pub food. Ordered the fish and chips. Fish was good, fries were soggy.

I recently visited this restaurant while visiting friends who live close by. They eat there fairly regularly and with good reason. It has warm rustic vibe and is a great place to hang out and have a bite to eat and a drink or to. Everything a pub should be. We had wings as an app and then I had... More

Hiked Gatineau Parc with my wife the stopped into the pub for lunch. The pub had a lot of character and even though the place was busy we were seated immediately. I had a a wood oven pizza with red onions and havarti cheese; my wife had the soup of the day. Both meals were enjoyed as well as the... More

Visited from Texas and that will be the spot I come back to every year. It is the definition of cozy and warm. Their house beers are proper and had me coming back three days in the week that I visited. If you like a pale ale then you love the Blanche. Came back another night for my anniversary and... More

Nice place great location mediocre food and service Went for lunch. Server was attentive in the beginning but completely absent after meals were served. Waited 40 minutes for bill. Menu looked very good with lots of selection but meals were bland. For a place with so many beer selections, only 2 ciders was unexpected. Smoked salmon plate was very small... More

I went here yesterday with my boyfriend after hiking in Gatineau Parc. Their craft beer was great, and the food was fantastic! The Duck Confit Grilled Cheese sandwich was amazing, and their soup was very seasonal. We sat outside and it was cloudy and cool so the servers gave all customers outside these very big and warm blankets. Our server... More
