We left Hamilton early to see Raglan and needed a solid breakfast before flying home. My partner had eggs hollandaise with salmon and eggs. His reaction was "it's different but nice". I tried his salmon and sauce and both were good. The mushroom was huge. I had vegetarian big breakfast with homemade baked beans (delicious), poached eggs on fresh, crusty... More

Visited on a Sunday. Place was fairly busy. Ordered the scrambled eggs on sourdough bread. Not sure what went wrong but the bread was a soggy mess - not much of a base for the eggs and not nice to eat - just mush. Seemed like water had been poured on the bread (from the scrambled egg?) before olive oil... More

The food was good, recommend the eggs bene of any kind. They have my fave brand of store brought hollandaise & the side of potatoes is fantastic. Portion size is good. Beverages - don't recommend the feijoa smoothie. Milk mixed with the smallest portion of apple & feijoa juice just tasted like milk. Coffee was hot & strong but they... More

The menu stated that the hollandaise sauce was home made but it didn't taste homemade to me. The coffee was good though, but not brilliant.

My friends and I visited this restaurant because the menu had gluten free and vegan options. When we asked the waiter if certain things were gluten free she got very impatient and annoyed, even though we were doing our best to be as polite as possible. She did a lot of sighing and rolling her eyes making our visit very... More

Went here on new years day for breakfast and was appalled by the service, our friend ordered a strawberry milkshake and then five minutes later told they didnt have the bits to make it, he then ordered a thick shake to be told they didnt have ice - he went and got a bottled drink only to be glared at... We usually come every year and rave about the coffee but this year we were very disappointed! Ordered a strawberry fruit smoothie and was served a horrible syrup flavoured drink that looked curdled! Some of our group enjoyed the big breakfast whilst others has cold food. Definitely won't be back again!!!!

Short story: ordered a bowl of coffee, got charged a bowl of coffee. Received a mug of coffee. Told the waitress it was wrong, apparently I ordered a mug and was charged the right amount. Other than that you'll find cheaper/better food elsewhere in town. The bakery across the street is your best bet. Its a shame, I remember this... More

Great looking place In a good spot amongst the Raglan Cafe scene. Have been twice recently. First time I thought I would try a chai latte. Was asked if wanted the sweet or spicy version. Chose sweet and it was so sweet it was undrinkable. Went back for coffee and a treat last week. Coffee was ok but individual lemon... More
