Located in an old Georgian building Raymond Blanc's brasserie boasts a wonderful interior with several levels providing different dining environments overlooking an open, mezzanine kitchen. On arrival you will be greeted by our friendly, knowledgeable team and the lively ambience is complemented by a menu inspired by the simple, hearty dishes of M. Blanc’s childhood. Great Breakfast

My wife and I visited on Sunday morning after my birthday for breakfast. My wife had the delightful Eggs Benidict and I had the full English. It was very nice and I would certainly return although I would ask for the bacon to be cooked a little more as I like it crispy but that's down to me not... read more

I took my friend, who had not eaten at this restaurant before, for a birthday lunch. We both thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful cheese souffle, after an appetiser of bread, aoli, tapenade, and thick balsamic. All delicious. For the main courses my freind chose the special of Duck breast and confit leg, which was more than she could manage, so I... More

A last minute booking for Friday evening and the phone was answered on the third ring and a pleasant lady took my booking. Our server Laura was really attentive and very professional. The food and drinks arrived quickly and efficiently. The ambiance is good and the food excellent.

Birthday treat pah! This place states it's fine dining. This is simply not the case. We waited 20 minutes to be offered arrival drinks. We ordered a bottle of wine and a bottle of water, neither were poured for us & our glasses were not topped up throughout the meal. The staff took an age to take our plates away... More

Food is of a very good standard, menu changes regularly so its nice to go each season. Food sourced locally where possible and the lunch menu is great value for money. Would recommend this to anyone.

Brasseries Blanc tends to be the same whichever venue one visits. The atmosphere in Berkhamsted is good, the service is very good, and the lunchtime fixed price menu is also very good value. The a la carte menu is more pricey, as one should expect, but is still value-for-money when compared with the Michelin 2-stars et al. We have eaten... More

We have eaten here on quite a few occasions and have rarely been disappointed. The lunch menu served until 6.30 is really exceptional value at £11.95 for two courses with a glass of very drinkable house wine for an extra £2.50. The food quality meets the standard you would expect from a Blanc establishment and is combined with friendly efficient... More

For a town 35 minutes from one of the greatest cities on the planet to eat, the paucity of decent places to eat never ceases to amaze. Brasserie blanc continues the theme..this is as far removed from great french brasserie food as you can get. Dire frites, tasteless steak. Dull. The town desperately needs a decent london gastropub. A world... More

Rich, tasty food, all freshly cooked. Good value lunch menu and great quality children's menu. Very polite and helpful staff. We went on a Saturday, but children eat free during the week.
