My wife and I enjoyed a nice evening out again at Brasserie Blanc. We have been here several times and enjoy it very much. The only thing that can be improved is that some dishes do get a little bit overdone; not badly, but not perfect. I had the mackerel main course which was affected thus, however my wife had... More

Second visit to this restaurant & have to say that again the food did not let us down. A party of 8 & we all enjoyed our selections. Friendly service and frequent drinks orders being taken.

We’ve visited Brasserie Blanc a couple of times recently. On the previous occasion it was quite brilliant – service was brisk and efficient and everything we had was spot-on and delicious. We made a decision to come back soon. On the second visit we might as well have been in a different restaurant. It was 30 minutes before we were... More

There are a number if good restaurants in 'Berko' - a number of chains and some one-offs that don't often last long. Most of these are in the mid-market cafe segment and BB sits fairly high up, in my opinion. It's been various things over the years and was a long time being refurbished. Returning to the town after a... More

Loved the ambience, the service and the menu choice. All cooked to perfection and beautifully served. Just what I would expect from my favourite chef.

We were at a loose end one Sunday, and athough we wanted to lunch out, we didn't fancy a traditional roast. BB has been a fixture in Berkhamsted for a while now, the exterior doesn't do it justice. This is part of a chain but others should consider taking a leaf out of its book. A lovely drinking and dining... More

It seems to be a common opinion that it is either hit or miss with Brasserie Blanc Berkhamsted, however I have always found the food to be incredibly tasty and well presented. The only slight issue is that the staff always seem to be rushed off their feet. Would definitely recommend the Chateau Briand, the Stroganoff and the Pea Salad... More

Firstly, it's best to book as Brasserie Blanc gets pretty full several days per week. The menu changes fairly frequently and there is always a special fixed-price menu. I had a pea and mint soup to start which was from the set menu. Thought I'd try something different for a change but wouldn't choose it again (down to personal taste).... More

This is a very popular eatery with an interesting and changing menu. Good staff interested in you and knowledgeable about the food they are serving. A good choice of wines with some interesting discoveries for those willing to try something different or follow the advice of the servers. Sometime you need to book well in advance other times you can... More

This is the 4th time we have been to the Brasserie, and yet again I can highly recommend the place. We went for my Mums birthday and experienced excellent service, we asked what we should choose, and our waitress took the time to explain our choices and what and how they were prepared. The Meals were all very good. We opted... More
