Excellent 'Blue' Chateaubriand

The chef does an excellent 'blue' chateaubriand which is the only reason we go here. Would prefer in there was a greater range of side dishes. Staff try very hard to provide a good service.

called in here last week, a recent refurb, I haven't been for over a year, lots more room, A lovely menu of the day, £13.50. It was excellent as usual. It was just enough and very well cooked, I had steak as did my husband, celery soup for Stater, and Mango nugget for dessert. Really enjoyed it, will be going... More

Called in on chance after discovering that Cafe Rouge had closed down and didn't actually spot the "new look" (or indeed new name) until it was pointed out to us! More relaxed than it was, but food just as good and can see you would visit more often/casually than before. Great food and lovely staff, especially the Parisian-Algerian manager -... More

We have been going regularly now for a few years and have tried all the other restaurants in Berkhamsted and we keep going back as our favourite restaurant. Regular favourites are miscellany of salads, escargot and the Onglet steaks. It's all well prepared and tatses great. The staff are excellent. Just Fab :¬)

on a very wet and rainy Sunday morning we decided to pop into blanc brasserie, having walked past the unassuming frontage on many occasions and having been quite dismissive. However after a glass of champagne and a croque Monsieur we were smitten with both the surroundings, ambience and superb service.

Went there as a birthday treat. This is a very smart restaurant but still very friendly. Food and wine was excellent a great night out for a special occasion, with excellent service.

We visited this restaurant when it first opened and it was not a great experience. We decided to give it another try on a friday night. We opted to sit in the bar area in a cosy booth. Our waiter was so attentive and very pleasant. The service was excellent all evening. The food was even better. The wine waiter... More

My wife and I and my in-laws visited her Saturday lunch time for the lunch speck menu of £9.95 for two courses. This is the third time we have visited and each time the food has been of the highest standard and very tasty. i had celery coup and sausages with mash potato which was delicious. Certainly recommend this lunch... More

I've been here a number of times and the service and quality of the food have very slowly fallen over the years. Whilst still acceptable mostly, this makes it poorer value for money. On this occasion, we visited on a very quiet Sunday lunchtime. There was a good choice of options, from the main menu, the specials and the Sunday... More
