We went for a quick Sunday dinner on 19th May. A quick meal however turned into 2 and half hours! The service was fantastic; we had a lovely waiter who was very attentive and always on the ball. The restaurant has great decor which always helps. The Sunday lunch is £13.50 ahead and you can choose from two meat dishes,... More

We've tried this restaurant a few times since it opened and have yet to be impressed by the food or service. It has a cold, impersonal feel about it, and I don't mean the temperature - there's something lacking in atmosphere. We've tried a few different dishes, but they are generally quite bland and unappealing.

My wife and I decided we would celebrate our anniversary by having lunch at this Brasserie Blanc - and I am happy we did - made most welcome - ordered and waited in anticipation. My starter of Steak Tartare was exquisite and my wife enjoyed her Goat's Cheese parcel. My main of Rack of Lamb was cooked to perfection and... More

Visited with family for Sunday lunch. We were shown to a beautiful table in the orangery, and the restaurant is funkily decorated, bright and modern. The food though was quite mediocre. Service, though polite, was sluggish, more than 5 minuted between the first and last of us receiving our mains. I had roast beef with a good lump of cartilage... More

This is such nice place to mark a birthday! The food is always delicious and the service informative and friendly. We mixed from the set menu and a la carte and our waitress didn't bat an eyelid. The 'birthday boy's selection of smoked mackerel pate followed by the rabbit was declared especially delicious. We also like the wide range of... More

We went for a lunch and had the set menu - great value and the menu changes each month. The wine offer on top really makes it great deal. Really good fish and steaks. Great service too.

We enjoyed the set menu on Friday. This menu is excellent value for money. Service is typically French, unhurried, perfect for a relaxing lunch/dinner. The wine offered by the glass with the set menu is pretty good for the price. Overall a great place to go if you want a taste of Raymond Blanc but without paying a hefty price!

Two shared assorted starters, which were better than average, one had soup which was good and I had Scottish muscles in wine. Flavour great but the muscles were small. The meal improved with the rack of lamb both tender and tasty. The service was excellent and our fussy requests were attended to without our menu changes being lost on the... More

Friends and I visited this brasserie for lunch as a Christmas celebration in December 2012. We were very disappointed in several aspects of our experience here. Afterwards,we contacted the Manager pointing out areas of less than good food, service etc. She took this on board and invited us to return as her guests . This we did today. It was... More
