This is always a tricky one - Find a good, but not over busy restaurant that has a relaxed atmosphere- should you recomend it or keep it a lesser know secret with a fear that it becomes too popular and crowded... Have visited here a number of times now, not my closest Indian Restaurant, but worth the journey out. I... More

We have lived here for four years, but although we have been to some of the Indian restaurants in town, this was our first visit. On entering there was a warm feel with pleasant decor. The tables were laid with crisp clean cloths and pretty floral arrangements. As it was a Sunday they had a buffet. The selection was good, and... More

So I've never been thrown out of a restaurant before, until now. If you don't want this kind of embarrassing situation, whatever you do, don't complain that your meal is wrong......even if it is!

There's obviously still a market for this type of restaurant - after all there are hundreds of them the length and breadth of the land doing the old tikka/vindaloo/madras/balti etc., etc., combination - but quality fresh ingredients should be king these days, and here they were tired and of a low standard. Meal for two at £50, so what do... More

Visited the Taj Mahal today at 5.30pm with my family for Mother's Day, the buffet was dry and uninspiring, some fresh chicken tikka finally arrived which my 5 year old tucked into,, seconds later I realised the chicken was raw (yes raw!) in the centre, we complained to the manager who was totally uninterested and so we decided that we... Food is outstanding here. we went with friends for the first time a couple of weeks ago. The only thing my wife pointed out was that the interior decor which perhaps would benefit with a bit of a revamp. we will definitely go back as we enjoyed it very much.

I love this place & my children are becoming more and more adventurous with their taste as we visits this place more & more. The buffet has everything and even with a big party of 13 this time, all was great with both the food & the service. Enjoy

Visiting the UK from Spain we are always very keen to get our favourite meal, Indian food. Having eaten at the Taj Mahal previously and enjoyed the food we decided to use their take away service. We collected the food which was very good, we all enjoyed our meal, the food was cooked well and the portions were very generous.
