We reached there and asked him what can be prepared quickly (because we had read on Tripadvisor that Indian food can take upto an hour to preare!!) He said Chinese, and we ordered Chicken momos, Veg Chowmein and Egg Fried Rice. HUGE quantities, and very reasonable. These 3 things cost around 350 rupees!! And the order came in <15 minutes!!... Food is ok. Do try the butter tea or Brit tea. Momos are ok, not extraordinary. Thukpa- well you can try it, but its pretty bland; your cook is assamese not tibetan. Dont dare try any Yak cheese dishes, you would throw up!!! Better to play safe & order regular Indian dishes. During Buddhist festivals only vegetarian fare is available.

This place serves good food at low rates. A must go. Located at old market, Tawang. It serves local as well as chinese food.

A couple of cups of coffee (more milk, hardly any coffee) took half an hour to arrive, and the dinner took another 1 hour after that. The food was good (but not outstanding), but waiting that long made us lose our appetite. Pre-ordering your food and then turning up much later seems like a good option.

The food out here is decent and nothing to write home about but the service was good and the warm liquor going down your throat on a cold afternoon really warms you up

A small restaurant in the main market, which can be easily missed out if you don't keep your eyes open is the best place to have authentic Tibetian cuisine. The place is small and cozy with a very warm and hospitable staff. The food is excellent and so is the service. The main attraction is the staff has complete knowledge... More

Served quality foods. They are specialised in Tibetan foods. Do not try Indian Foodds there. Neat and Clean. Staffs are very friendly. Highly recommended..

We had stayed at the Dung Phoo hotel and Dragon restaurant is just a couple of hundred meters down the street. We felt that nearby places lacked eating options until we discovered the Dragon. The tomato soup was excellent - spicy and pulpy. We also had the fried rice(again excellent). it had small fried pieces of okhra which added a... More
