Opted for this place for a late afternoon frappe after a visit to aphrodite's rock. It is the only place close by and with great views out over the rock but that's the only good thing. The restaurant was empty but we were greeted with a very surly, disinterested waiter who asked us what we wanted before even giving us... More

We arrived and were greeted by a strong smell of pigs on the carpark. Menus and drinks expensive.Lactating dog begging round the tables with miserable staff. Food came quickly but very poor. Moussaka was cold and frozen solid in the middle, staff said it was freshly made!!! Very poor tuna salad and a very strange unidentified meat in the burger.... More

this is a tourist trap if ever I saw one. we came there because the kids were hungry and there were no alternatives close by. the prices are high, the service is bad, the food is mediocre at best. the only good thing is the fabulous view, so unless you just want to drink a beer and watch the view,... After an afternoon at the birthplace of Aphrodite we saw a flyer for a local restaurant with a good view, nice looking food and a lovely outside seating area. So we decided to check out the Petra tou Romiou Restaurant. Well it was bad from as soon as we arrived. We had to pick our own drinks from the fridge... More

No service,no excuses, tried to bill us a full sum the meal on our leave anyhow.... More

Places like this are giving the entire island a band name and negatively affect foreign tourists' view of Cypriot restaurateurs and generally tourism professionals. Being the only option for visitors to have some cooked food while visiting "Petra tou Romiou" (Aphordite's birth place) beach is the only reason this place gets any customers. The place was beyond dirty and smelled... More

We passed the signs for this Restaurant on the main sea road to Pafos, As we pulled into the car park it was apparant that this restaurant had seen better days. It is a large building and before the Motorway was built it was probably the place to stop for coaches and outings to Petra tou Romiou. We were greeted... More

Prices are very very big, but in the kitchen are working vietnamese girls, who are not a shefs, but cooking greece food, they live near the kitchen in a small room. Ridiculous, those olives for 6 euro- they are washed old ones, very very dirty kitchen for sure, and nobody ends their meal, leaving whole fishes on the plate and... More

We visited the restaurant with friends and a family with kids on our way to paphos and we ordered a mixed grill plate, kleftiko the traditional starters and couple of burgers for the kids. The prices are a big rip-off. The traditional starters. (Choumous, tachini, taramosalata, olives etc..) were charged for 6€ per plate which is ridiculous ! They served... More
