Dined last night (16 July) to celebrate our son's 23rd birthday....magnificent! "Steak night" proved to be a wonderful gift.... The boys had the featured porterhouse steak which came with chips and salad. They chose mushroom sauce and had a cheeky bowl of lovely potato mash on the side. The steaks were perfectly cooked and generous size - great value... Us... More

Called into this eclectic little pub for the second time the other week and again was impressed. My wife and I are always looking for places to eat out with the kid’s as our two boys love eating as much as they love running around and discovering new places. Over the past 6 months we have had some weird and... More

Dining these days too often you seem to have to trade of service and quality for a relaxed environment. This place really steps up to the plate. With an old school quality hotel charm and a great beer garden (both under cover open seating), the staff had great bar knowledge and made you feel like you are a part of... More

Four of us went there for dinner. The menu wasnt even organised when we got there at 6.30pm. The meals were decently priced but were really small & barely filling. I ordered a soup after my meal due to being hungry still & after fourty minutes of watching other peoples food come out who ordered after me, it still didnt... More

Had a Wednesday $10 lunch time burger. Great bun, very tasty. The patty was actually real meat, not frankenstein meat some chains pu in their burgers. The $10 is only a new deal so it was a bit quiet when I visited. I'll be back.

Went here for a work reunion and was happy I choose here. Old fashioned pub with really nice finger food. Nice setting. Much more comfortable here than in some of the "trendier" places.

A friend recommended this to me for a visit on a Wednesday night - 300g Porterhouse with chips or mash and veges for $15. I was not disappointed. Cooked perfectly, a good size and not a hard Northern Australian bag of bones - a very good piece of meat. The hotel has a classic old Aussie pub feel but nicely... More

Heard great things about the railway hotel. So thought we would go there and try it out. And can I say it lived up to all the good reviews. The staff are friendly and help full. We got the 15.00 Wednesday night steak / chips and veggies( or mash potatoes ) special . Didn't think it would be that good... More
