Went with group of friends for a dinner out in Melbourne and ordered platters share! Food was sensational..... loved the chilli and eggplant dips! The oven baked stuffed mushroom and eggplants were the best! Good value for money, great friendly service. Would definitely visit again!

Years of consuming Turkish fare (outside of Turkey) has set your mind to notions of what they are to be. I enjoy the weekend strolls at South Melbourne market and it was by chance while walking by, I decided to have my late lunch. I was not disappointed. In fact, when I ordered my food (meatball), I had visions of... More

I had turkish food before and this place I am afraid is bellow average! . The service was great ,we chose the grilled meat plater , the lamb was tough, the kofte /minced meat had one spice that overpowered the rest and was too spicy for the children. I note my children love this type of cuisine but not this... More

On a recent sunny Sunday the good lady wife and I in company with adult middle child, tried the Gozleme from this market edge restaurant/café, we only had the gozleme, with a soft drink each,$12 per head, served and seated, the staff seemed pleasant enough, we enjoyed the food, the vegetarian gozleme being the favourite of the group and after... Being Turkish myself I was worried and had my doubts but it was incredible. Me and my friend ordered the Pastry rolls, eggplant and ocean trout to share followed by the iskender. All the dishes were freshly made and arrived well on time. My friend tried a Turkish beer Efes Pilsen and like it, while I went for a Pimms... More

We went to this restaurant with a group of Turkish girks who were desperate for some good iskender. The night didn't start off too well when our reserved table was the high chairs at the back and with two heavily pregnant women (one with twins) this was not going to work. The restaurant had trouble reseating our group so we... More

Good atmosphere but very low quality food and service! We had dinner last night and today I still feel sick and my partner feels the same. Poor quality bread and meat. I do not recommend it to my friends at all!

We had the banquet consisting of dips and olives with Turkish bread, spring rolls, stuffed mushrooms, a mixture of grilled meats with pilaf and salad coffee and dessert. Everything was delicious. I will definitely return and would highly recommend this restaurant. Overall a great night. Must try the baklava with ice-cream.
