We had the $55 tasting menu. The food was lovely, fresh and different. Probably not an ideal place for kids, pretty expensive for the little they ate. Drinks were very expensive and choices limited. No BYO.

Great small Middle Eastern restaurant with impeccable service and food. Highly recommend. Staff were very attentive and made sure we had an enjoyable evening.

The warm flat breads are hard to resist with lashings of garlic-laden babaganoush or rich and creamy labne. Our favourites are the best falafels we have ever tasted along with the bbq chicken skewers and slow roasted lamb shoulder. Keep going back for more. Never disappointed.

My girlfriend chose this restaurant based on a recommendation from her sister for her birthday. They both are vegetarians. However Bayte is not a vegetarian focused restaurant, rather it is a fantastic Lebanese restaurant with an amazingly diverse menu with well thought out options for all. The service was top notch and extremely helpful (despite a lot of new changes... More

Delicious, authentic Lebanese food. The house speciality of raw lamb kibbeh was delicious. I'm not a huge fan of raw meat but I could go there and just have that and the labnah. The servings are large so be wary of ordering to much as the entire menu sounds delicious. Definitely book.

We decided to try Bayte after reading the positive review in The Age newspaper, and we were not disappointed. Entering the restaurant, which is not large (so do book ahead), there's this comfy, homey feel, with bookshelf at one side and a courtyard at the back. The staff is always friendly and attentive without being pretentious. The menu looks authentic... More

Our party of six ate here last night. We agree with the earlier reviews listed here. The food is excellent. Innovative and really really tasty and most impressively presented. Compliments to the chefs. Lovely atmosphere too with friendly, motivated and efficient waiting staff. Overall, we had a great night and we couldn't fault the restaurant in any respect. Bravo. We... Having lived in the Middle East for several years, this cuisine is a family favourite. We went on a Saturday night, it was very quiet, I think they have only recently opened at night. The food was delicious and the service great. We will definitely be back! It is in a quiet area so easy to park. I hope for... More

Beautifully prepared food, good serving sizes. A very enjoyable meal with strong flavours. Wine list is a little pricy with none of the cheaper good quality Australian wines a available. Will definitely be back for more.
