A good pub in a great looking building. A few different sections with a front bar. More of a upmarket restaurant than a pub. Good food but expensive.

A group of 8 of us ate upstairs. The table was so very wide that it was not possible to converse with the person opposite. Thus the diners could not communicate as one. This was a real downer for the evening. We should have eaten downstairs. The food was good but the value wasn't there. Not much on offer for... More

mobile review We ate a respectable meal there with wine in the bar area and when it came to paying I got more hassle from the bartender for not having my "tab card" than actually paying the bill. Honestly, if your'e not used to bar tab card culture like I am (I'm not Australian and new here) don't give your... More

The advertised lunch deals caught our eye as we shopped on Smith st. We had 3 delicious meals, fish, burger and chicken, the dishes were well presented and very tasty. Very good value and done if the friendliest staff in town, good all round experience.

First time diners to this venue. Didn't believe our friends who booked the restaurant that this pub would be associated with Spanish cuisine. So pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was great. The menu had so much variety. All our meals looked and tasted great. Other diners meals also looked awesome so lm inclined to return to try what they had. Definitely... More

The inner-city area of Smith Street in Melbourne is home to many excellent cafes, factory outlet stores and is very much a part of Melbourne that is key to what makes the city a fun place. The non-traditional cafes is mixed in with some superb dining and if you are looking for a great coffee and breakfast than venture down... More

I met a friend in Collingwood and she suggested we popped into Robbie for lunch. I was expecting a little pub with bar food, but what i got was an amazing Spanish experience. The manager Jose, clearly from Spain, was super nice and so informative. He recommended the Paella, which we shared, along with some other delicious Spanish treats. Would... More

Came here with a friend who is from Spain and told me they had the best spanish croquettes in Melbourne, just as her mother used to cooked them. The spanish chef sticks to the original recipes for a traditional spanish meal. Croquettes, Oysters and Lamb ribs are simply delicious! They have a seasonal menu and they change it often, so... More

The Robert Burns Hotel is home to a very good Spanish restaurant. I didn't notice any signage to indicate the restaurant was there, Word of mouth I guess. Ordered several dishes to share in our party of five - the squid ink paella was scrumptious!
