We visited here with some friends last week as we had read some reviews and thought it sounded good. We booked our table and arrived about 5 min early. We had to get the attention on the bar staff as he kept walking off. It took them over an hour to seat us and we had 2 young children who... More

We visited the Kinmel Arms on Saturday night to celebrate a friends birthday, five of us had a spectacular meal, with great service. I have eaten at the Kinmel Arms a couple of times before and was not overly impressed but this time it was superb, the quality, presentation and care which went into all of the dishes was the... The presentation of our food was delightful. my crab which i had for a main course came with beautifully presented edible flowers and my crab was flavoured with a delicacy of touch which enhanced rather than overwhelmed the crab, beautiful. The hand cut cups where also excellent. My friends chicken and tarragon pie was also described as full of flavour.... More

We visited on a quiet Wednesday evening and given a very warm welcome. Excellent food and service. I can recommend the duck. All food mouthwatering and very well presented.

We had an excellent meal here, and would definitely want to eat here again if the service was improved. Don't get me wrong, the staff weren't unfriendly or bad at their job when you could actually get the attention of one of them, but that was the problem - there just didn't seem to be waiter/waitress around when you needed... We recently had a meal here with out daughter and son in law. As ever, the service was good and the food exceptional. Only one very minor issue, however. Although very elegant, the very large candle holder in the middle of the table did make conversation a little difficult, having to move to see past it to make eye contact... More

lovely village pub in a beautiful setting. A relative of mine stayed there, she said the rooms are beautiful. I have eaten there twice lately and both times been disappointed with my meal. I find it's very overpriced.

Pitched up on a summer Saturday evening, place was rammed asked if they could fit 2 in, yes they could not in main restaurant but we were in, Saw the menu and immediately knew we were in for something special as after the usual pub favourite ( fish& chips, home made burger etc.) there were only 8 items on the... The Kinmel Arms is one of those places one always hopes to discover. Well, we have!! Always a great welcome from the staff, nothing is too hasty or difficult. Fantastic food coupled with some great accommodation, and I am a fussy fella, make this a great place to overnight on the way to/from Ireland or have a short break in... More
