Here again as a local I must say I agree with the spread of ratings. Good quality trends to be very average at best. What this place has going for it is location and in the summer their patio is delightful. Stick to basic food choices, drink lots and you'll have fun. It is a great place to drink and... More

We were meeting in family in Prescott and, being somewhat familiar with the area, suggested that we go to the Red George on the waterfront, a historic building and pub. We were a little early, and only a few customers were there. The décor was appropriate to the building housing the pub. We had the special, chicken stir fry, and... More

My wife and I and two other couples visited this restaurant for dinner on 17/6/14. This an out of the way riverside pub some 100 yards away from the St. Lawrence with a very large parking lot obscuring the view of the water. The pub is in the basement level of a several storied apartment or condo complex and has a... The Red George is a riverside pub that is a little too far from the river to take advantage of the water. The menu is a fairly standard pub-grub choice and the food is no more than average. Sausage and mash was ok, meat loaf was less so. Service was prompt and friendly. Beer selection was uninspiring. A very unmemorable... More

Patio wasn't so great, kind of underground. Food was mediocre. I had a wrap, not the best I've ever had. Serving staff were pleasant. Might give it a second try.

Went for a special occasion and the entire group was very happy with the food, atmosphere, location and the employees. Everyone from the chef on down were extremely helpful & friendly. The food was out of this world. My seafood/penne pasta dish was great. The pot pie, Caesar salads, quesadilla & desserts were all wonderful. Not cheap, but worth every... More

Servers were friendly and attentive. All of our meals were delicious. The chicken pot pie was the best. This was the best value for a meal I have had in a long time!

The menu gave choices and it was hard to choose. Everything was delicious. Our server Teresa was attentive and pleasant. On other occasions have also enjoyed very good lunches and dinners

The setting is fantastic overlooking the water/old docks, the menu is varied and lots of nice choices. Sadly the service was ridiculously slow we were a party of 10 but almost 45 min to get lunch dishes (none fancy), my burger was well cooked/dry. The portions are good and the prices are great.
