After arriving in Puerto Rico and making it to our condo, we ventured out to this restaurant which was recommended by the condo's owner. The location was perfect- right on the beach! The ford was good as well- all 5 kiddos found something to please their palate :). I would definitely recommend this place!

I have visited this restaurant several times. The food is good. Unfortunately, my last visit left a lot to be desired in terms of restaurant cleanliness. When my party was ready to leave, I went to the restroom. What I found was a serious health issue. Upon entering there was a strong ammonia smell resulting from literally, a puddle of... More

My husband and I arrived around 12pm. There was only one couple eating (NO Rush) no one greeted us uppond arrival, we waited to be seated. The waiter was really rude, did not smile or even said "good afternoon" my husband had to walk to the bar to get the menu. After waiting more than 10min for the waiter we... More

SUMMATION: This restaurant is something of contradiction. A rustic shack with corrugated steel sheets over the tables on the beach, but some world-class preparations. They cannot decide if they wish to be the old-Puerto Rican myth of simple shacks selling fresh seafood on the beach (their appearance), or a renowned restaurant (their food). Some of their items are excellent, or... More

When my family and I arrived at tropical sunset restaurant we were impress with the exterior of the restaurant. As we enter the establishment, our expectation slowly started to decrease. When the menu was giving, we all started looking at each other with amazement. The price were on the high side, and the food was average. The service was very... More

Close by where we staying and open late. Lively place with salsa music and karaoke. Wednesday was $0.35 wings and shrimp night! We got 10 of each and a shrimp mofongo, both of which were good but average. Right on the water which is nice. Bathroom was disgusting. Service was average. Wouldn't seek this place out but if you need... More

This restaurant has it all - overlooks the sea and waves, friendly & helpful wait staff & fresh, tasty local food! The mofongo stuffed with seafood was amazing! And the conch was the best we've had since the Bahamas! And all for a reasonable price in a pretty basic, balmy outdoor atmosphere. We loved it & went there twice in... More

This place is tucked away between Aguada and Rincón. It's a large restaurant with ample parking. You can sit outside facing the water or in any of the different dining areas. I was amazed at the delicious selection of criollo food and seafood. Everything was delicious, flavorful and beautifully presented.

A group of friends went recently. We called beforehand to notify the size of the group and to be prepared. When we arrived we wanted to sit near the terrace to have a better view of the seashore. Though we kindly told them and accommodated ourselves for seating the waitresses were not pleased. They made us wait for the menu,... More
