In Love with Platanos?

For platanos lovers this is the place. All plates are made with platanos and good food. Good prices. You have to wait around 1 hour to be served due to the hundred of hungry people visiting the place but you will not be disappointed. One of the favorite place for bikers. Try to go early.

It's on the top of a mountain at the west side of the island, in Aguada, a town close to Mayaguez. A rustic wood construction, some handcraft, very ventilated, nothing special but pleasant. Many, many people goes because the variety of food prepared from plantains or bananas and because the low prices. It's about 1 hour 30 minutes from San... More

This place is every tourist dream, not only is located on a mountain range, seems like its hidden from everything. The place is a gem. They were the innovators on plantains dishes, when only mofongo existed they came up with plantain sandwiches, chips, fries etc. As the tile says Tourist must go.

The plantain sandwiches are just great. Prices and service are very good. The restaurant is a bit hidden; however, I like to explore! Definitely recommend visiting if you are in the west side of the Island.

We went here while visiting Rincon. The drive was interesting...definetely up a cliff. Our GPS did work at getting us there but we got lost on the way back. It's very cute, the staff doesn't speak English but enough that she could recommend the most popular dishes. We had mofongo and a chicken sandwich. It was really cool to eat... More

It is our 11th visit to this place and they still have the touch. They do magic with the plantain. The service still awesome, the area has a gorgeous view and the weather is always perfect. The praise is great and the portion of the food is super. They are excellent.

Well everything here is made of plantains. They will cook anything in between, over or even under. Dessert is made of platano too. Real nice view front here. Easy access just drive to Aguada and fallow the signs. Lovely place.
